Tamanu Oil - Best Treatment for Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne Scar, Rosacea - Relief for Dry, Scaly Skin, Scalp and More - Cold Pressed – Proven 100% Pure

If you’re like me, you don’t want to read a lengthy review; so let me keep this as short as possible. I am a licensed esthetician. I have combination dry skin that breaks out every once in a while. I have noticed that the capillaries on my face keep breaking, dry patches keep getting drier and larger, and I’ve been getting bumps on the apples of my cheeks that don’t seem to go away...ever. These signs all pointed to rosacea. My face was becoming SO red and sensitive, I was getting quite self-conscious; even with makeup on. I did some research and came across this oil. I got it April 1 and started using it right away. I wash my face morning and evening and use 2 pumps each time on my clean, dry face. I rub my hands together to heat up the oil and then immediately press my hands to my face in different areas. The oil is NOT heavy and seems to absorb quite well. There is a slight earthy smell but it doesn’t bother me at all :) these pictures I’ve taken are 16 days apart. NO makeup, NO filters, the camera and the lighting is the same so as to not mislead anyone with the results. Pretty amazing stuff!! Not only is my face less red but my pores look smaller, most of the broken capillaries have faded, and the texture on my cheeks and cheekbones is dramatically improved. I am HAPPY!

I love this Tamanu oil! Having never used Tamanu oil before, at first I was a bit put off by the scent and how thick it is. I thought for sure it would be hard to spread and never absorb. Boy, was I wrong. I tried it on my hands and it was very smooth and absorbed very quickly. After a few moments I forgot about it and went about my business, called my Boo, and unconsciously touched my left hand. I was so shocked at how smooth it was, I let out a bit of a yelp! I looked at my hands, and I swear!, my hands looked ten years younger! I couldn’t stop talking about it, so much so, that my Boo is using Tamanu oil daily now, too. I’ve only been using this on my face for a few weeks, and while I don’t look ten years younger, my skin is smoother, softer, and is overall more even toned. I have two obnoxious sunspots under each eye and those are much lighter!!! I may be hallucinating, but it does seem like the pores on each side of my nose are now less noticeable. My hands have continued to look great and I’ve even used it on my hair and scalp. It does seem like I have less fallout whenever I do that the night before I know I’m going to wash it the next morning and it seems to seal my split ends - thinking I may even forgo a trim the next time I get my hair colored. I use it on the heals of my feet and they are soft as a baby’s butt now. I cannot say enough about this oil! The seller is super nice, the product arrived perfectly with no leakage and was very fresh. The only thing I wasn’t very thrilled about was the pump it comes with. It dispenses more oil than I sometimes want and it’s hard to control how much is dispersed. I would prefer a dropper, which I’ll just get next time I go to my local Vitamin Cottage. Other than that, which is a personal preference, rather than an actual defect, I love this oil and will definitely purchase again.

I get really dry, flaky skin in the winter. This stuff is perfect for that. I use it mostly on my face and knuckles on my hands. It keeps my skin moisturized even in the rather severe cold weather of Wisconsin winters. The oil hasn't made me break out even though it's fairly thick as fair as oils for skin go. The oil will be too much for my summer skin, but it's perfect for my winter skin... if that makes sense. The scent isn't bad. It's just a very green, earthy smell and it could be considered a stronger scent for some. If you don't like that sort of thing, I don't recommend buying this oil. Considering how I use it, this bottle is quite large. It'll last quite a long time since a little bit of the oil goes a long way. Due to the length of time it'll take to use this oil, I strongly recommend keeping the bottle in a cool, dark place (such as a medicine cabinet) in order to prevent the oil from spoiling (going rancid). All in all, this works very well as a moisturizing oil for very dry skin or winter dry skin. It has what some would consider a stronger, earthy scent. It's a good sized bottle of oil and will last quite a while. I would definitely recommend this oil to others for the same purpose as I use it.

I bought this Tammany oil o help clear up my acne and moisturize my skin in combination with another oil or lotion as a base. I haven't been using the oil long or consistently, so I'll update my review when I have a better understanding of how the oil reacts with me. What I can say for now is that this oil feels high quality, though I wouldn't necessarily know what high quality tamanu oil looks, feels, and smells like. The reasons for why I think this oil is quality: (1) The oil is thick and deep green. These two characteristics have me thinking that its good oil because these are two qualities of good EVOO. (2) It doesn't smell synthetic. Added note: I'm not crazy for the smell, but its not offensive or lingering. (3) The packaging is really nice! Dark-tinted glass bottle. It comes packaged with a tight cap and the spray nozzle comes sealed in a little plastic baggy. The spray nozzle also emits the oil well. Though if you have arthritis, keep in mind that you have to put a bit of pressure to pump out the oil so it might hurt your joints. But then again, you could just cap it with the twist cap it comes with. (4) It's organic. I mean, this may or may not mean anything because "organic" has become a buzzword. But it is USDA approved so you know that it at least follows US guidelines for "organic". This oil is thicker, but I find that it does absorb into the skin. I've only used it at night for this reason. Also, I heard about this oil from Liam Yoo on YouTube.

I originally bought this for my son’s eczema that gets bad in the winter, but we’ve only used it once or twice on him so I’m not sure how well it works for that. I started using it for my face, which gets pretty dry. I don’t know what’s going on with this stuff, but after only a few weeks my acne scars are somehow disappearing! I don’t get it at all. It kind of looks like the skin is tightening or smoothing over the pock marks on my cheeks. My wrinkles are the same and not affected, at least not yet, and my dry skin is only helped if I use 5 pumps right after a shower. The smell is not fantastic, it does smell like urine...and my husband isn’t a fan of the smell, but it’s helping my scars, so I’m giving it a chance. It’s possible it is causing small breakouts of 1-2 pimples here or there, but I don’t think I’ve used it long enough to know for sure yet. I’ll update later with more results. **Update: I had to stop using it because of the smell!! I just couldn’t deal with it anymore. It’s very potent and sticks to everything! All my blankets, pillowcases, bed, my shirts and sweaters, my scarf, ALL reek strongly of urine!!! I wanted so bad to keep with it, but the smell is that bad. Ugh. Lowering from 4 stars to 3 for this.

Wow. Can I just say, "Wow?!!" We all get the unsightly blemish on our faces. I had a bump on my face, and popped it; it was annoying, so I popped it! Well, it decided to stay - for 3 years. It's not very noticeable, but it made its home on my face. I tried a few acne and scar products, and nothing could defeat that homestead bump on my jaw. I have been using a scar cream for 3 years (Quantum Derma Scar Reducing Cream) and it works on scars that are newer (scars if you cut yourself, or fell off of your bike), but not a bump or deep, tissue scars, so I stopped using it. It was only by Jesus that I found this oil, because I have never heard of it. I decided, "Hey, it is about the same price as that other scar cream I used. As an added bonus, it's a naturally, occurring oil." If anything, it will make my skin softer! I like that!! I noticed results the same day, and noticeable results within 1 WEEK. One week! The bump on my jaw has reduced considerable (just using this 1x per day and not the recommend 3x per day). Even a scrap on my leg (deep tissue bruise) decided to pack it's bags and leave!! My nail bed is visible healthier and I just love this stuff. It's only $15 and you get all these WONDERFUL results? Whoa! I bought another one - Majestic Pure Tamanu Oil because this brand (Pur365) was temporarily out of stock. There is a visible difference in them both: The Pur365 is certified ORGANIC. The Majestic Pure is not certified organic. The Pur365 is a clear oil, with no harsh smell. The Majestic Pure is not a clear oil, but rather a green oil, with a browny, woodsy smell. Smells like fall leaves after the rain hit, and they have been sitting in the gutter for a while. Not a pleasant smell, but not super bad. I HIGHLY recommend the Pur365. It's only 1 ounce in comparison to the Majestic Pure which is 4 ounces, but I believe the Pur 365 is much better quality. Again, the Pur365 is a clear oil wth no harsh smell. This Tamanu oil works GREAT on scars and bumps. Go for it!!! Thanks for reading. :) P.S. It also comes with a convenient pump!! :)

Okay, let me start off by saying that I am VERY picky about products I buy and use. Now let me also say, I have a plethora of things I've used this for. I've only had it for a week but I have discovered that this stuff is like magic. I have hypothyroidism so it causes the back of neck to be dark and rough. Tried this stuff out on it and it's taken 95% of it away. Same thing for darkened armpits. I also have those little bumps on the back of my arms, you know "chicken skin". And I have been rubbing this stuff on them and its almost completely gone. I have paid $20 for lotion before that was supposed to help it and it did nothing but break me out. That's another thing, I have SUPER sensitive skin and almost any kind of oil or lotion causes my skin to break out. This stuff doesnt. It leaves it smooth and soft. I've also been rubbing this oil on my stretch marks on my stomach and its helping with them. I dont know if it will actually take them away but they dont feel as deep and they are 100% lighter in color. It has also helped my rosacea on my face. So, in conclusion... I will continue to keep stock in this product and I back it 110%. I never would have thought that something that costs $15 could help improve SO many of my problems. If you are having any second thoughts buying this, please dont wait another second. I just wish they sold it by the jug since I'm slathering my whole body in it now lol

This Tamanu Oil really seems to help with my mothers Psoriasis/Eczema. We have used several products to help elieviate some of her ssmptoms, but most relly seem to do nothing more than moisturize. THis oil does mosturize, but over time she is definalty in hless pain and stress and it seesm the red angry spots are getting smaller and smaller overtime. The key is to treat over long periods of time and eventually the sysmptoms will be eliviatated or at least quite minimized! And the oil does not leave a smeelly fragrance at all. It is almost fragrance free, with only a slight tint of smell, whih is actually quite pleasing.

Really good quality. Nice minimal packaging. The bottle feels sturdy, the pump dispenses just the right amount of the product. My first time buying tamanu oil so not too familiar with this oil, it has a herbal medicine smell to it. I use it as a face oil and it’s non greasy, easy to absorb.

Bought this with the hope that it would help sooth eczema. Unfortunately, I react to it. To be clear, I react to many things (which is why I have atopic eczema). If I did not react to it, I would keep using as I do like its moisturizing capability. Leaves skin quite soft, without greasy feel. Strong smell, but I don't mind it.

I thought I would try this brand as the reviews were great and the lid/pump appeared to have a better mechanism than the Essentials brand (which it does), however the product doesnt seem as potent. My bottle was not dark green as it should be - it was bright yellow. I find Pur360 formula to be lower quality. That's just my opinion!

Thank you. This is an excellent product for dry skin. I've been using it on my elbows & when I remember to use it, it gives good results. Have also had good results on a couple of old psoriasis scars. Product softened the skin there too. Thank you.

It's an oil so obviously it will be "oily" but actually feels good on your skin. I use at night
