The cabbage in this sauerkraut is thinly sliced and of good quality. The texture is smooth with a little crunch. The ingredients are simple, organic and clean. I like the taste - sauerkraut with a sweetness from beetroots (which I don't like on their own - different taste, worth a try). The product is versatile, I use it with salads, on its own as a snack, it really pairs well with sausages too.

This is really tangy and a spoonful makes a salty, tart edition to a meal; the usually earthy flavour of beetroot gets masked by the taste of salt and vinegar so it's the sharp, sour tang you notice most. The beetroot is grated so you could easily add a dollop to a burger, a jacket potato or have it with meats or a salad etc. It's a big jar but the sauerkraut doesn't have a long shelf life once opened (jar says to consume within 3 days of opening) so most of the jar went to waste in our home. I won't be repurchasing due to the short shelf life and high salt content (which I didn't notice at the time of ordering) but can't complain too much about the overall flavour and freshness; it's sure to appeal to regular cabbage sauerkraut or pickle fans. I also think that it's very similar in flavour to the beetroot chunks in vinegar that they sell in the chilled aisle at the supermarket and they're cheaper than this jar, with a lot less salt added in, so that's what I'm going to stick with...

Absolutely love this - have literally been eating it out of the jar every time I pass the fridge! It’s just tangy enough, really lovely taste, and a very fair price for what’s obviously a very good quality product. Definitely recommend, and I’ll be ordering some more :-)

Well it tastes fine not particularly complex. Really not sure if this is proper sauerkraut though not mention of pro biotic fermentation. Is it pasteurised maybe who knows? Really needs proper labelling or description.

Absolutely delicious. Great texture with just the right balance of salt, sweet and tang. Decent quantity for the money as there's very little liquid, and the jar is well packed with the product. Excellent quality product.
