These work but you have to take a lot of them. Probably not what they want you to do but I dump about a quarter to a third of a bottle in whenever I wake up with leg cramps and in 15 to 20 minutes it's like I never had a cramp. I've never had a bad side effect from taking so much either. I keep a bottle by my bedside for those unhappy moments when I wake up with a cramp.
