Keyless2Go Replacement for New Keyless Entry Remote Car Key for Vehicles that Use HYQ12BDM, HYQ12BEL with H Chip

I took a chance on ordering an after-market key fob for my 2016 Toyota Camry SE, but this one worked. I was quoted a price of $285 from a locksmith to order one and program it and I didn't want to pay that much. I ordered this one for $30 and took it to a locksmith that programs keys. He cut the key for me but couldn't program it. He suggested another locksmith and after several attempts, the second locksmith was able to program it for $50. So, I have a fully functional key fob for my 20216 Camry for only $80. That's a deal compared to what dealerships and locksmiths want to charge.

Called a mobile locksmith and he came to my house to cut and program it for my Toyota Camry 2016 within in minutes. The key works perfect.

2017 Camry Works great no issues

Saved me well over a $100 buying key fob on Amazon. Found a highly reviewed locksmith who cut and programmed it very easily. All the buttons worked for my 2016 Toyota Corolla eco boost After it was working he gave it to me which I then put on keychain next to original key. Then it wouldn't start. So he programmed again and decided I should keep it separated from the original key so the car wouldn't read the chip from both keys at same time. Works just fine!

Dealer wanted $300 to provide me a replacement key. Instead I decided to purchase this key blank, a USB laptop interface to program the key and had Ace Hardware cut the key. In the end I spent less than $75 and got a working key after a little leg work. I highly, highly recommend anyone shopping for a replacement key open their existing key and confirm the key model number, FCC number and match the letter on the key blank. I have a 2016 Toyota RAV4 and research online showed another key being a very common replacement but in the end this was the proper key. Ace hardware cut the key for me with no issues at all, cost $2.16. I programmed the key immobilizer with no issues using tech stream software and then programmed remote door lock keys again with no issue. The only reason this key gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because my remote tailgate button does not work. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the key or a problem with the programming, I've sent an inquiry to the seller. If I get this working I'll update my review. Either way, I can live with my tailgate button not working for a savings of $225.

RIGHT FIT WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD..

I have purchased four of your keys and the locksmith said that all of them created error codes when he tried to program them. None of them worked.. Not happy

You will need a locksmith to cut it and then program it. Programming has two parts - the transponder and the remote. The transponder allows the ignition to stay on after the key starts it. The second part is the remote that unlocks and locks the doors. Just make sure you get that clarified from the locksmith. If you don't get the transponder programmed right - the car will stall / shut off despite being able to start.

Toyota dealership could only get the ignition part of the key to work. Key will unlock door manually and start car...nothing else.
