Xtenda-Leg® Ladder Cap

Very nice product!!! Fit perfectly!!!

I have a lightweight extension ladder so I had some misgivings about ordering this item. The protectors slide over the ends of the ladder without problem and because of the material they're made out of, did not slip. I will not be without them ever again. Great protection for any wall surface.

I frequently put my extension latter up on the side of the house to do various things, 1) clean gutters, 2) maintain security lights, 3) maintain security cameras. I was concerned about the ladder scratching the paint, so I ordered these ladder caps. The were a little too big for my extension ladder, but a couple of zip-ties fixed that problem. These caps now work great to protect the paint on the sides of my house.

Overall, I would totally recommend these as a protective cover for your ladder. The rubber is super thick and durable. It will absolutely prevent your metal ladder from adding dents to your drywall or fascia. But two things to keep in mind: (1). This is blue rubber. It left a mark on a couple walls. But, it's not bad. One I could rub off really easily. If I could make a recommendation to the manufacturer, it'd be: "Use a neutral color rubber instead of a dark one." (2). If you're putting this onto a larger extension ladder, (where one side of the ladder extends upwards using a pully," realize that these covers may pop off when the ladder is fully contracted (made small) - which, it's not a big deal to put these covers on each time you use your ladder. But, if I was a contractor needing to do this every day, this product would't work for certain applications. All of this said, the time-cost of a paint-touch up due to a scratch is worth avoiding at all costs. So, these will pay for themselves quick! Overall, a solid product.

Great add-on for my Little Giant ladder. They protect walls and home exterior without scraping or damage. Easy to install and remove.

bought as cheaper alternative to the werner caps as I just had to do one or two quick jobs against cedar siding. they were a loose fit on my ladder, but I was able to run a bolt through the holes to secure them so that was fine. But, they were very soft. If you drag them down the cedar even a little bit, they leave behind a blue material like a #2 pencil eraser when you rub it hard on paper. The werner caps on my other ladder don't do that. I guess if you have better form than me and don't drag these down your siding, they'll be fine.

He is always talking about the ladder slipping. These fit perfect and do the job so he feels and appears more secure when on the ladder

Very nice heavy duty and easy to use!! Soft to use against house walls!

These ladder caps are not as substantial as some on the market. I doubt they will stand up to constant friction against a brick wall. Should be fine for infrequent use.
