MOO Dotted Hardcover Notebook – Premium Grey Lay Flat Journal - Medium-size, Thick 5x8 Paper with Dot Grid for Journaling, Goals, Tasks and Progress (Charcoal Grey)

Great product. I've been using Moo for my business cards for a while and this product felt familiar. I filled up all the pages of a Moleskine recently. Both are the same size as far I can tell, maybe a millimeter here and there but nothing life changing. It does lay almost flat, easier to write it as you get towards the middle of the notebook and you start writing towards the binding, you don't have to fight it. The paper is a very pure white, the Moleskine has a yellow tinge. The pages do appear slightly thicker, there is less ghosting in the Moo, but neither ghost/bleed enough that it bothers me. The Moleskine paper feels "softer." Once I finish writing on a page, I can run my hands through the page and feels the indentations/bumps from my pen pressure. The Moo does not exhibit that. Moleskine paper has rounded corners, the Moo is square. I'm not a fan of the colored pages in the middle of the book,. It has a nice aesthetic from the outside but I'd prefer continuous pages. I got the jet black/duck egg color. Even after owning it for a few days and not leaving my desk, it has picked gotten quite dirty. Other colors would probably hide it better but you can easily see the dust/specs it picked up against the black. The texture of the notebook also means it is not easy to clean. Overall, I like it. Moo is more clean, smart, and modern with sharp edges. The Moleskine feels more like a classic, historical, and patinas well.

I've been looking for a notebook that was well made and stayed open/flat (which honestly is harder to find than you would think) Well this one fit the bill! It has an independent binding that allows it to stay open and flat and it is beautifully designed and made of quality materials. The only thing I wish it had was a loop that wrapped around the notebook to hold it closed but really not a huge con for me. Came wrapped in plastic with protective sleeve in perfect shape. Will buy again!

These are my favorite notesbooks and the only ones I will ever buy! I am a doctoral student, so I find myself always needing to write something down somewhere, and these help me keep so organized. I have one specifically for research topics, one for my stats and measurement courses, and one for personal thoughts. I absolutely love these and will be a long time customer. These notebooks are also great because they lay completely flat, this is huge for lefties! This is the perfect size to bring with me wherever I go. I have one in all my school and work bags and even my purse.

This is a nice-looking, handy size notebook. The cover material and binding are beautiful quality. The sewn-in marker ribbon is a helpful feature, though I agree with another reviewer that two or three of these would be even more helpful, especially if intended us is as a bullet journal or planner. The primary reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the paper does in face "bleed through," or at least show through, when using a FINE point (0.3) fountain pen with light pressure. Rather a disappointment if one wishes to use both sides of a sheet of paper.

I absolutely love this notebook! The pages are easy to write on because of the lay flat design, my felt tip pens don't bleed through, and the plain colour pages in the center make a great reference section! Also every pen I've used glides smoothly on the paper! Only thing I don't like is there's only one bookmark, so if you're trying to write about multiple things it can get a bit annoying

I never leave reviews, but I will for this. This specific notebook is the best notebook I’ve ever used. It’s the only notebook/planner I’ve ever been able to finish. It’s such a well made product and you can see the thought and effort that went into creating such a good product. The binding is perfect and the cover is soft and comfortable to hold. The colors are beautiful and the paper was great quality (I use gel pens and highlighters, I know some other people complained abt there gsm but wasn’t a big issue for me). I bought the Leuchtturm in a similar size in red. I didn’t like it, the pages were too thin and the book was more awkward to use. The moo notebook is way easier to use with the Swiss binding. The page thickness is also better than the leuchtterm. It’s a bit less wide than the leuchtturm, which is the only minor complaint I might have, but I’ll also say that I got used to the page size and honestly prefer it - it’s a very compact and portable notebook that just fits in your hand. (Also the corners in this one are pointed and the leuchtterm is rounded.) has I love it. This review isn’t sponsored but I wish it was, would love to meet whoever designed it. Seriously, I’ll never use another bullet journal again.

This is exactly what I wanted. It's a great notebook for lefties (not screwed over by a cumbersome spiral binding that scratches my desk, nor annoyed by a traditional binding which also gets in the way of my writing hand and ultimately just closes on itself). This is great, the only thing I wished is that I was able to find a grid pattern version of it on amazon. I looked but couldn't find it. Otherwise it's a fantastic little book for engineers.

Book lies flat making it easy to write. I ordered the dot version and , if i had seen it in person, would have ordered grid format. The dots are too light colored , and because of this, they do not serve a purpose for straight line alignment for this left handed person.
