Sony Ericsson HBH-DS205 Stereo Bluetooth Headset

Over Bluetooth its a good full spectrum sound , so rare now, volume buttons on the side play pause the outhr and a bt pairing and power button on the bottom so simple natural to use and the ergonomics are good it stays playing music for like 8hr eg more than i work stand by it last days well the newer one dose OK so that's why iv replaced my old one I brought in 2007 now In 2023 Down sides it uses the mic on the dongle its only a stereo sound jack, The actual bt phone call quality is not as good as holding a modern phone to head. The clip will break because the plastic went for style over strength the spring is very strong well I just replaced mine with a safety pin clip , Oh and it takes a charge lead that's not USB on the phone end . This device exceeded all expectations. At the price, I wasn't sure if I would get full functionality with my X10 mini pro (android 2.1), but it works perfectly. Good clarity Good range Good controls (volume, track skip, pause/play) Great price. Ok earphones, but I wanted to use my own earplugs anyway and it will accept any 3.5mm jack. Speedy delivery The only reason I would perhaps go for a more expensive model is if you really wanted a display to show track name, but this was not important for me and not worth an extra £40 - £50

The ear phones didn't last to long as they wasn't teenage girl proof but the Bluetooth receiver is still going strong this is the old model but cant fault it for what it does I get around 4 hours on a full charge still .

if your headphones get damaged or aren't good quality, just buy new ones without having to replace the bluetooth. This is genius and I can't believe there are so many bluetooth headsets that don't allow this because they are hardwired instead of using a plug connection. Only thing bad about this is that there is no microphone.. calls come in and you have to shut off bluetooth to answer or you get massive high-pitched feedback.. everything else is better than you'd expect, including a long battery life!
