I picked up the Estwing 3lb Drilling Hammer specifically to help me with a NorCal mod, and it turned out to be the perfect tool for the job. This hammer is compact, but it packs a serious punch. It has a great, simple feel, the head is heavy and well-balanced, and the grip keeps it steady even when things get greasy or dusty. It’s got that classic Estwing durability, so it handles the hard strikes you need for modifications without feeling like overkill. If you’re working in tight engine bays or need a heavy-hitter that won’t take up too much room in your toolbox, this is the one. It just works exactly like it should. Highly recommend grabbing one.

5/5 star compact powerhouse perfect fit auto repair
I needed a small power house of a hammer for auto repair when space is always fighting against you. This little Eastwing 3lb sludge was exactly what the dr (or shall we say mechanic) ordered :) Perfect balance of heavy duty and compact sizing for my needs. I wish they had a 5lb version as well. Buy one you won't regret it and ignore the whiny review about the finish scruff. When you hit sharp steel it tends to damage things.....
