This is the best foundation around elf has very good quality makeup. The longevity is amazing at last on your skin. Very good. It’s lightweight the finish finishes great. It’s a matte finish and it smells very good. It is not too thick so it is perfect. Very hard to find. I will continue to buy this always.

Long lasting, no smearing, light weight and good quality. Small but goes along way depending on how you use it. Provides great coverage and blends well. Leave skin feeling smooth not oily.

Soo...I'm cheap. Not sorry 🙃! I never fall for those social media products. Ever. Until Il Makiage foundation. Only because my beauty struggle in life has been finding the right shade for me. And this time my struggle overpowered my cheapness, lol. So I order the product and lo and behold. It's true. It matched me flawlessly. The only thing is that the coverage is for younger people. It's thick and drying and I'm old, thats not gonna work for me. So I returned it, but now that I had that knowledge in my arsenal of knowing what shade fit me, I went online and found a website called Findation . com that matches you with your same shade in almost any other brand, to other other brands. It pulled this one up and knowing ELF is affordable, I figured I'd start with this one. I've never used ELF foundations and sure enough my shade was not sold in most stores :/ . So I ordered here and tried it. It ALSO matched perfectly!! It has light, silky, buildable coverage great for my skin. The whole time I had been using more orange based foundations, not knowing I actually had a cool pink undertone. The only drawback is, although I'm older, I'm not 80, and the smell reminds me of the cheap perfume Grandma wore in the 80s only because it was cheap. I'll try it for a while and see if I can stand the smell, but it does stay on the product for about an hour after applying, so if it bothers me enough ill finish this bottle but go back onto the website and find the next affordably priced foundation. So for anyone else that has had this struggle, take one of those new online quizzes to find your right shade like on Il Makiage, take your match and go to Findation . com, and choose a brand that you are comfortable spending your money on. If you already have your matching shade but might be struggling with the price of your brand, try going to that website to find a lower priced product. As for ELF, its non-drying, light, buildable coverage is absolutely wonderful, I don't regret purchasing it. I'm so happy I have my matching shade in an affordable brand! But if you are sensitive to perfumes, please skip it, it's very strong. To ELF: your product is fantastic, but please take out the perfume or use something more subtle so more people might enjoy your brand.

I was super skeptical about this foundation because I am in my 50s and skeptical of ANY foundation. They were always kind of cakey and heavy for my tastes, but I had good skin and could get by without foundation for a couple decades. BUT my skin is not what it used to be, and I just moved to a new climate and my skin is not adjusting well. I have weird red splotches on my cheeks and chin, but my eyes look sunken because the skin under my eyes is kind of sallow and just not normal. Also, and how fun is this?, my formerly normal skin has become dry and even kind of flaky on my forehead. So with this horror show happening on my face, I thought I would give a foundation a try again. I haven't bought it, as I mentioned above, in at least twenty years, so I really didn't know what to look for or what to get. But everywhere I looked, people were raving about Elf, so I popped on Amazon to read some reviews, and I was sold. I didn't do the whole looking for the right shade thing since my skin is very fair and not hard to match at all color-wise. I wasn't so sure about coverage, so I also bought some weird purple thing to quiet the red. Happily, I received the Elf foundation first because I don't need the purple powder (which seemed weird to me, but I did try it on the weekend, and it really did cover the red weirdness, so yay!). I only used the tiniest amount and kind of dabbed it on the red parts first, and then I used a foundation brush to blend it up down and around (and dabbed a bit more on my suddenly dry and flaky forehead), and I have to tell you, this is some amazing foundation! I have never seen anything like it; it's like ten years were just sucked off my face because it not only covers uneven skin tones but does a good job filling fine lines around my eyes and even moisturizing my forehead flakes to the point they disappear. And it lasts! Obviously, I don't touch my face during the day, but it lasted and didn't cake or get uneven at all. I really couldn't be happier. In fact, I just ordered a slightly darker color to try some contouring! So obviously, I would not only buy this again but am inspired to try more adventurous things to get just the look I want. Where has Elf been all my life? I can't wait to see if their other products are as fabulous because now I want new eye-shadows and a lipstick!

I was not a fan of this foundation personally, I have combination skin and it was peely for my skin. I would not get it again. However, it could go well with people with other skin types so it’s definitely always worth a try but it is very affordable! It also dries very fast so it is hard to blend in. I did also crease with me but again it could be because of my skin type. But I would say it’s worth a try to see if it works for you!

I’ve spent so much money on costly foundations. None have been perfect. I’m almost seventy and have tried the foundations for aging skin but none were that great. On a whim, I decided to try this, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I got two shades and still need one with a little more color but that’s not a problem. This makeup is so light and sheer, and doesn’t settle into lines, fine or otherwise. I found that I can take concealer off my list because this covers all I need, Eve dark circles, and does it better than anything else. There’s no caking, the foundation is buildable, and feels like silk. My face is so soft, it feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. I use the lighter color to conceal and illuminate without having anything shiny. I don’t need that type of illumination. If you’re looking for medium to heavier coverage this probably isn’t for you, but it covers and corrects (how, I don’t know) everything I need. Dark circles are truly gone without looking like I did something to cover those up. This is my new best friend. I’m not good with sponges but never used them before. I’ll probably stick with brushes. But everything I need is in two bottles of this, and I’ve spent a third or more in getting one bottle that’s disappointing. Highlights, foundation, concealer - for under $20. My face feels like silk! One negative thing is that it’s not boxed and comes dropped into a lightly padded mailer bag. Both bottles came ‘battle damaged,’ big chunks off the thick part of the bottom of each. Fortunately it didn’t break through so as long as they don’t get another ding on those places I can live with that. What a great find! I’ll be buying more products from e.l.f, definitely abs without question. One shade a bit darker and I’m set. My face is so soft, and I look like I’m wearing nothing but a little blush, eyebrow color and lipstick. Extraordinarily pleased. This is the best foundation I’ve ever used! Concealer, foundation and highlighter in two or three bottles for less than a foundation in anything else. e.l.fantastic!

My foundation, that I used for years, was discontinued. I have been doing without for a long time, mostly because it is a pain to look for new makeup. I like what I read about the e.l.f. products and thought I'd give it a try. What I LOVED most is that the small tubes and jars are the perfect "try me" size and very affordable. Great marketing strategy. I was able to buy 6 different shades so I could try them at home. I was actually surprised at how much foundation is in each tube and jar. I guess that I chose wisely because most of the shades I picked would have worked, but the best was the "Pearl" shade. I have light green undertones to my skin. This shade helped even out my skin and give it a consistent tone. I used my regular face cream a few minutes before applying the makeup and it went on so smoothly, without feeling cakey or dry. It lasted all day, in hot weather, and I still had a "glow" to my skin. It worked really well with my powdered blush. I have slightly oily skin, but do not like the feel of matte foundation. This foundation was a great compromise for my skin type. This will be the foundation I use forever...or until they discontinue it.

El producto es tal cual como lo han descrito en las reseñas de youtube. Es liquido pero al esparcerlo por el rostro da un efecto terso, suave, y muy ligero lo cual me encantò ya que por lo general las bases suelen sentirse pesadas al ser puestas. Al ser aplicado se seca inmediatamente y tiene excelente cobertura en el rostro. Verdaderamente lo recomiendo a cualquiera ya que por el precio la calidad es inmejorable.
