Canon DR-C240 Office Document Scanner, Black

We were looking for a compact better than average scanner, but not wanting to pay the outrages prices. This scanner fits the criteria. It does a nice job scanning and the program is easy to use and understand. Very customizable. The set up was easy. No need to pay an IT person to set up for you. We purchased 3 of them and all 3 users are very happy with the performance.

I do a lot of scanning of a multitude of document types. I have used Xerox and other business-grade scanners in the past, and this one has the best hardware and software I have used throughout the years. This scanner is a great addition to my business (and home). If you plan to scan documents to PDF or pictures, it does them all well.

it works well, but includes no Apple software, you need to go to Canon web site to get driver + it has to be the 2nd driver because only it has needed software, Canon was very nice + quick to get back on e-mail to sort it all out

In the past, I've bought cheaper scanners. By spending just a bit more I'm getting better speed along with good quality. A good decision. I had a glitch in the setup process. Probably my fault. I called Canon tech support and got very good help to get everything squared away.

Great scanner. Very fast scans. Great for flat sheets. Not so good for packing lists and other documents that are foldeded. Easy to setup.

Setup instructions were not very good. I finally got it setup and it would take forever to scan. I had to get a tech person to check it out, and the problem he found was that it had an older version for setup on the disc that was included. He went online and found a newer version, installed it, and now it works fine. I do like the functionality of the product though, now that it's working right.

Fast, quiet and easy to use. I bought it refurbished and it works great.

Great time saver, great quality work it puts out. Worth every dollar.

merci

The packing was very good. The scanner works fine. The product and quality is also very good. Works faster than all my scanners. I hope it continues to work like this in future as well.

Excellent

Very finicky electronics. Expensive repairs every 2 years.

Scanner's Feeder is not detected the papers, so i had to return it. If the documents are old, then rollers of feeder have to clean very frequent (in after a single scanning)
