What guage wires? (This info really ought to be in the description- saying nothing more than "Copper wire inside" is useless!)

It didn’t say on packaging but appears to be 16ga. I’m running to 10 ft to reach power supply and it stays cool even turning cam and talking thru it if that helps.

I have 2 desk speakers, and the right one connects to the left one using this type of cable. would this cable work?

If the plugs fit and there is a low current draw sure. This is for power and is not shielded against interference for use for audio signal. Also a long length with small gauge wire, you’ll see voltage drop if using high current application
