This device has been a great addition for managing multi-factor authentication on some of my devices. The setup process was incredibly simple, making it very user-friendly even for those who aren’t tech-savvy. One of the best things about this product is its small size, which makes it easy to carry around and use on the go without any hassle. It operates seamlessly and has made my login process more secure and efficient. Pros: The compact design is a major plus—it’s small enough to keep on a keychain or slip into a wallet. The operation is straightforward, making it accessible for quick use without any complicated steps. Cons: The only downside I've noticed is that it feels a bit flimsy. While it works perfectly fine, I would have preferred a more solid build to give it a more durable feel. Overall, it’s an effective tool for anyone looking to streamline their multi-factor authentication process. I highly recommend it for its convenience and ease of use!

It works for Gmail sign in (very easy setup -thanks Thetis & Google), but Windows 10 only gives the option to save and use the key in the online Windows account. Windows doesn't make it easy. It took me 4 hours to figure out how to make the key a default option on the online account in Windows. There's a myth out there that if you set up the online account with your security key that you will be able to use it to login to your Local Windows on your computer afterwards. (*Edited once I got more information about Windows 10*) this is false. Local Windows is not an App. Online Windows is an App, so the key will only work with Online Windows 10. Just to set up the key as a default option to login to online-Windows, you have to use the Windows 2FA phone app first, and then it eventually allows you to make the security key an option in the default settings, but ONLY logging into the online Windows. I only gave it a rating of 4 because of the difficulty in figuring out how to make the default setting work. The lack of documentation, on the part of Thetis was disappointing, but not surprising, considering that Yubikey is the key that Microsoft recommends. Btw, Yubikey and even Windows Hello can't login to Local Windows either so in the end I think the Thetis key was the best option.

The software from thetis.io/start to setup the security key is a little confusing since it covers two devices, the security key and the finger print scanner! just run the downloaded .exe file as administrator, and plug in the key and the software recognizes the key then click on FIDO and set your PIN. the rest of the instructions are good.

I vet in the VA using ID.me. I was a mainframe sysprog. If you are a Windows user, make sure you have RUN AS ADMINITRATOR in your context menu otherwise the device will not initialize, and you will be up the creek. I returned mine because it was useless.

niet al te dure hardwaresleutel voor extra beveiliging, werkt voor mij op zich prima met websites die dit ondersteunen, zoals ook Amazon :-) Afhankelijk van het OS dat je gebruikt kun je er meer of minder mee doen op systeemniveau.

I bought this as a backup to my Yubikeys. I should have researched more about before buying. Currently very few websites support Thetis FIDO2. I do not recommended buying this as your first security key. It's not good value for money at this stage.

Easy to set up for this intermediate PC user. Works very well at logging in the computer it was set up for. It would be great if they made them in different colours so I could colour code them to different PC's.
