What a bewitching delight! I had the absolute pleasure of reading "Room on the Broom" to my niece's class, and I can't begin to express how much everyone adored it. This enchanting children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler has quickly become a classroom favorite, and for excellent reasons! From the moment we opened the book, we were whisked away into a whimsical world filled with spells, teamwork, and friendship. The vibrant illustrations by Axel Scheffler are nothing short of enchanting, bringing the characters to life with every turn of the page. The students were captivated, wide-eyed with wonder. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. 🧹💜 It has been a favorite in our house for years and somehow my kids never get tired of it. The rhymes are so fun to read out loud, the illustrations are bright and whimsical, and the story has that perfect mix of sweet and just a little spooky that makes it extra magical around Halloween. 🎃👻 The witch and her cat pick up friends along the way and my kids always giggle at the silly moments and cheer at the happy ending. It is such a heartwarming story about kindness, friendship and teamwork, all wrapped up with a flying broomstick and a friendly dragon. 🐉✨ It has become a bedtime classic but honestly we pull it out year round because the kids love chanting along with the rhymes. It is also short enough to read before bed without turning into “one more story” negotiations, yet still feels like a full adventure. 💤📚 If you want a read aloud that your kids will ask for again and again, and one that you will not mind reading on repeat, this one is pure magic. Highly recommend for ages 2 to 6, but honestly it is a hit for kids and parents alike. 💛 Helpful tip: There is also a short animated film based on this book that is just as charming and makes for a fun watch after reading together. 🎥

This is a must buy! Our kids have loved this book. I even took it to their elementary school to read in the fall and the class loved it as well. Sweet and fun adventure along with great messaging. Don’t pass it up!

I'm so lucky because my five-and-a-half year old twins LOVE books and that makes me so happy! I heard of this story through school and we checked it out from our local library. My twins love it so much that I figured it can't hurt to have our own copy at home! Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson is a wonderful children's Halloween book that is good for children of all ages! It's a cute story about a witch who is flying her broom and ends up picking up extra passengers along the way. I don't want to give away the story because no synopsis of it can do this story justice! You'll just want to read it for yourself! This story rhymes so it's perfect for all children, especially ones who are learning to read. This story is also popular in classrooms and follows a beautiful rhyming pattern. The pictures are colorful and beautifully drawn by Axel Scheffler. This book contains 24 pages. I purchased the paperback version and it's very nicely made. The ages for this story are four to eight and I feel even children a little younger will enjoy it. Room on the Broom is a new household favorite and I'm so happy we bought our own copy! I was talking with a number of parents about this story and everyone has such wonderful things to say about it. Just buy it because you won't be disappointed!

My 3 and 5 yr old granddaughters love this book. I must have read to them 100 times. So I bought another book for my 2 yr old granddaughter and will read to her in two weeks when I get to visit her. Can’t wait. It’s funny and not scary.

Very cute story, perfect book for Halloween

Wonderful book. I got this as a copy to keep at our house for when my granddaughter is here. They have the board book but I like this more. It’s not as resilient as the board book but she is really gentle with books, considering she is only 16 months. She’s absolutely obsessed with this book and will read it again and again. She does all the actions and points to the broom, the hat etc. the illustrations are really funny and engaging. Brilliant.

My 4 year old & I both loved this book! A lovely story with big, colorful illustrations. We received it the following day in perfect condition. Don't hesitate to purchase this one!!
