HODEDAH IMPORT Bookcase, White, 5 Door

I enjoyed putting this baby together. It was very easy to assemble. It’s very sturdy and the quality of the wood is amazing, of course, it had that manufacture smell when I opened the package but it went away as I was assembling it. The height is perfect, I’m 5’8 and it stands up to my face. It looks great with every color scheme we’ve used in my work space/living room area. Each selection is perfect to organize different ideas and are very spacious.

Unfortunately it arrived with one long panel broken upside I called Hodedah they're customer service was quick very polite made me a ticket and shipped out a replacement. When it all arrived it was really easy to assemble instructions were easy to read and follow once completed looked amazing and was very sturdy. Used it to organize my kids room.

I love this cabinet storage very beautiful but when I opened my box to get the parts out the corner of the wood is chipped off bad I was so disappointed

I have purchased 9 of the white bookshelf with cabinets! 6 of the 5 shelf cabinet with doors in white..2 3 shelves with doors in white and 1 of the 4 shelves in white. I like the hard backs u drop in rather than those huge fake pieces of basically cardstock (lol) others sell..these are very sturdy and I put them together literally 6 in 2 days. Very easily and I had memorized the steps after the 2nd one. Lol.. anywho..Great for the cost and quality is better than a lot of known store bought brands of cabinets that don't even have doors.I have only ran into 1 issue so far after buying 9 in 1 week.. I'm currently dealing with the customer service through manufacturer.I will update with the service I receive for the issue.

I bought the product because it had several compartments with doors and was on sale. The initial impression was that this is heavier than I expected. The packaging was sufficient but the styrofoam was thin. Some of the veneer (cheap melamine) was dented in the corners. The assembly instructions are good and the assembly is straight forward. The plastic bits are cheap and if you overtighten a screw you piece is toast. Typical screw into compressed fiber board construction. Quality was interesting as the veneer was only applied to where it was visible. The bottoms of the doors have exposed pressed wood. The bottom sides of the shelves are also exposed so the manufacturer saved those extra pennies on materials wherever they could. Overall it seems sturdy enough and the gaps in the door are surprisingly consistent for the low rate plastic hinges. This is most definitely disposable furniture, I have the feeling that I've thrown away cardboard boxes that are made of better materials. I definitely would not pay full price for this, but I'm not going to take the effort to disassemble it for a return. Lesson's learned: Do not use weight as an indicator of quality. Somehow this thing weighs 50+ lbs? The manufactures must've figured out how to mix something heavy in with the compressed wood to add the appearance of heft....

I have been buying the Mahogany Hodedah book shelves for years. I've have to send some back because of bad packaging. But the product itself has been perfect for my needs. It's incredibly hard to find them without the doors now but I took a chance to buy the ones with doors and just leave the doors off. They are now packaged better and the little holes for the doors don't bother me and are hardly noticeable. I would love it if they brought back the originals with better packaging. I will settle for these for now. Easy to assemble. And match my originals.

Hello 👋 the cabinet was pretty intructions made it easy to assemble. It's bad overall, there were some defects as seen in the pictures. But nothing I wasn't too worried about that would make me send it back. It's not very Sturdy on carpet maybe it is on hardwood floor 🤔... I did use the square pieces shown in the last picture, the square pieces that were left in the box I'm not sure if they were met to be shims or not but that's what I used them for. They do give you a wall mount option which would probably make the cabinet more sturdy. Dealers choice. I'd recommend this cabinet for a cheaper option.

I love the look. My first bookcase unit did not have the 5 panels for the back of the unit. It was returned and the replacement bookcase did not have the bottom pi panel but there were 2 panels for the top. This made it impossible to connect the bottom door unless I put a hole in the correct position for the hinge. I decided to try that or I will leave the beautiful purple door off, which will be a shame.

Ordered against my better judgement. Saw the bad reviews but thought I'd give it a try as it looked nice in the images. However the 2 large planks were cracked (1 only slightly, the other all the way through).

This was a great product. Easy to put together. Good quality, nice finish the only negative are the doors are a bit difficult to place but otherwise a great find.

I don't like , because one side is damaged and I didn’t pay to cam in this condition
