Meet the Sight Words - Level 3 - Easy Reader Books (Boxed Set of 12 Books)

Our little one loves preschool prep. I bought him level 1,2 and 3 of this series and he not only loves it also he enjoys look the videos on youtube and reading the books at the same time. I consider this a very good educational tool, from a parent perspective.

These books are terrific. Based on other reviews I only got the third set that contains all the words from the three DVDs and I really do like them. Somehow every sentence is made from mostly sight words, which means it's great practice of all the words. I'm sure you're all familiar with Level 1 readers that have a few sight words sprinkled throughout the book with most of the words being longer, sound-out types that make it more difficult for a budding reader. Even books aimed at being "sight word" helpers don't typically include very many sight words. These books actually have a lot of the words in them, in easy sentences, with engaging story lines. I actually like them better than Bob books. Totally worth the money.

I actually bought all three boxed sets of these books to accompany the "Meet the Sight Words" DVD. I cannot say enough good things about these books. The characters are familiar to my daughter (age 4 1/2) from the DVD. The print is bold as are the colors in the these mini books. My daughter loves the feeling of accomplishment she gets from reading these books. The stories are short; words repeat for easy learning and the words she can't read she can decipher based on the content of the story. Love them!! Much better and sturdier than the "Bob Books" people may be familiar with.

My granddaughter has experienced extraordinary results with your "Meet the Sight Words" reading books (Levels 1, 2, and 3). By introducing her to one book at a time, practicing the words, and having her write them down, she is now able to read the books independently. Beginning her reading journey with these sight words has greatly boosted her confidence. The short length of each story is ideal for maintaining the attention of young learners, and the engaging narratives successfully utilize a limited vocabulary centered around familiar, age-appropriate topics. Coupled with the basic sight word lessons, these books have significantly helped her recognize words and begin reading full sentences. While she has numerous other beginner books, they are often overwhelming due to an excess of words and pictures. Your books are excellently designed with a simple format that does not overwhelm a new reader. Additionally, I appreciate how well the books work in conjunction with the flashcards and workbook, as well as the helpful tips provided for teaching non-sight words. The repetitive flow across the 12 books in the series provides an excellent structure for learning. Although I noticed some negative reviews comparing these to other early readers, I believe these books are specifically well-suited for four and five-year-olds who are beginning to recognize three-letter and four-letter words, learning sight words and practicing tracking text from left to right. Thanks to your product, my granddaughter is entering kindergarten this year already ahead of her peers!

I love, love, love the Meet the Sight Word series. I’ve been using the movies and books on my now 5-year-old and it has done wonders. The text is simple and clear and each level builds on the last. I’m so proud of how far he’s come in his reading. The coloring book was also a hit!

I love these books. Even though my child will point out and recognize site words in books, on signs and anywhere there are words, these books bring it all together to show how the words form sentences. It gives her more confidence to try reading and sounding out other words in other situations. Her interest has waned since first buying the books, so I feel I need to go back and have her watch the videos again. I skipped buying the level 1 and 2 sets because set 3 includes all the words from all 3 Site Word videos. We already read alot every day, so I don't think it is a stretch for my child to understand all the words rather than doing a slower "build-up" by buying the first 2 sets.

My elementary kiddos love these books as much as I do. Great purchase. Easy to read, understand and simplified ways to advance skills in a very non overwhelming and clean look.

We started out with the four basic DVDs from Preschool Prep when my first child was about 6months old. Before she was two years old, she knew all her basic shapes, numbers, colors, and letters. We then bought the larger DVD collection that included letter sounds, sight words, and phonics. At three years old, she is now reading some easy read books, can spell some words and sound them out on her own, and is beginning to learn how to write. Preschool Prep has been a great tool and we have loved all the products. These easy reader books were a great addition to the growing book shelf of Preschool Prep items. I plan to homeschool both of our children and have now started my 10 month old watching the DVDs. I highly recommend purchasing the books, workbooks, and flashcards to accompany the DVDS. It makes so much more sense to the child if all the material matches.
