Twelve Audubon Bookmarks (Dover Bookmarks)

A sweet small thing, fun to give inside a book I lend or gift. I use them myself. The illustrations are lovely, bright colors on sturdy, shiny paper.

Beautiful bookmarks. I've used several in this Dover series. When I use them, I cut the ragged edges from perforations off. But they're great!

I was traveling and had a number of books to read for research. I forgot to bring bookmarks and ordered these through Amazon mostly because of the price. I very much like that they come in a little book. It is very handy on the go. I can tear out a bookmark as needed instead of having a bunch of loose ones floating about. I find them to be a little shorter and wider than a standard bookmark. The front is a high gloss image and the back lists the name of the bird illustrated. There are two bookmarks per page. I wish the bookmarks were micro-perforated. The perforations are large, and they leave a very jagged edge when tearing them out. I also wish they made the perforation closest to the center a little offset. It runs right along the center and the book staple tears into the bookmark a little. That edge is also curled up a bit. Because of the center perforation, when you tear out the two bookmarks from a page the opposite page falls out. Given the price of the set, none of these issues are significant, but I think they are worth mentioning as they do make the bookmarks less visually appealing.

As usual, his Dover product has delivered! These are beautiful bookmarks. The birds appear in gorgeous, vivid color. I will really enjoy using these. And, by they way, be creative! Use as bookmarks, but what a great scrapbooking ( I Smashbook, actually) addition, for framed art, decoration for a year-round tree, etc. You could even put these in a card to give to someone as a small gift. There are endless uses here.

These are very colorful, on good stock paper, last a long time. I enjoy reading and using them. I have also given them to friends in cards and they comment very positively on them also. Great product at a great price.

These are the second pair of bookmarks I've ordered from Dover Bookmarks and once again I am happy with my purchase. These are just as nice of quality as the Van Gogh ones I bought. Maybe even a little better. I didn't rip nearly as many as I did the other ones I got. I also really love the design of these bookmarks. I attached some photos for those who like to know what they're going to get.

These make a nice little add-on gift if you’re giving someone a few books and they also make a nice little gift for yourself. The bookmarks separate nicely from the page, they’re colorful, and they’re sturdy. I have a family of birdwatchers and the Audubon birds are a delight to all of them. We always have one or two books of Dover bookmarks in the house so a bookmark is always handy when we need one. It beats using an old electric bill or half a sandwich to mark your place.

For $3, a nice add-on item, among the little things we need but forget we need. The bookmark doesn’t slide down inside the book, although it is on the short side, and the aesthetic value is a bonus. Audubon’s bird illustrations are great designs, so Audubon bookmarks are a good idea.

Beautiful sturdy shiny card bookmarks, four bookmarks are joined together in a row which is folded in half and makes the width of the book, Each bookmark has a perforation line on one side or the other that's how they are separated when you wish to use one. There are 12 bookmarks per book and they really are lovely quality with really lovely illustrations on. This is maybe my fifth or sixth book of these now I've taking to collecting them. Great bookmarks, very happy. Highly recommend!

A bookmarks are very creative & clean but they are slight thin. You must increse the thickness.
