My RO water was acidic at 5.8 ph. I added this filter kit to my express water system and my ph has now been raised to 7.8 - 8.0 ph. Easy install and compatibility with my express system. Well worth the money as it was half the cost of express brand!

The filter was easy enough to install (I liked that it came with quick connect fittings for both 1/4 and 3/8 tubing), but the low quality plastic of the fittings against the low quality plastic of the filter meant that one or both pieces’ threads bent out of shape upon the first gentle test-fit I did. So, I wrapped the threads well, using premium (Oatey) Teflon pipe tape, cut my filter-to-spout tube, and re-assembled the filter between the two freshly-cut pieces of tubing. All seemed fine and I flushed for 15-20 minutes as directed, and the water tasted pretty good. HOWEVER, the good things end there. Over the next few days, every time I went to use the filtered water, it would spurt and purge the air from the line, as if I had just put it in. And if air is getting in…… that means water was getting out. Out of the filter assembly, which sits in my sink-adjacent kitchen cabinet… made of wood. I redid the Quick connections, ensuring cuts were 90°, i removed and re-applied more Teflon tape to the threaded parts, I silicone’d around the threaded connection points, and gingerly put it all in the cabinet with a drip pan underneath. Fast forward another two days, and the water started spurting again and now had a funky taste. I pulled out the drip pan with the filters, and noticed MOLDY GROWTH AMONG THE FILTER MEDIA, which I’ve shown in the attached pictures, along with large air bubbles!!!!! I immediately shut off the water to the filter system and cut the filter out. Geekpure’s customer support did nothing.

Been wanting to add this for a loooong time, a visiting family member made it obvious that its about time. we were used to the RO water but it kinda felt itchy in the throat, but the family member refused to drink the RO water. What a nice addition - so far none of the problems noted by others about it tasting bad when the water sits in the cartridge for long.

I like this product, the test of the water it is great, and easy to install.

Have had a geekpure 5 stage kit installed for 18 months and it's been absolutely brilliant. Decided to add the alkaline filter just to add beneficial minerals back into the water that are lost in the RO process. Easy to install, came with everything needed and took me no longer than 10 minutes to add fittings and pipe into my existing system. These RO units are incredible and an absolute must if you value good quality water. We recently had friends stay with us who live with raintank water at their home and are quite picky with their water. They could not taste any difference between our water and their tank water, which when you consider the tap water here is bordering undrinkable (regional Western Australia, sourced from ground water) is impressive.

Acierto 100%, tenía instalado uno de la marca ispring y el problema era que daba un sabor muy calcáneo, tipo tiza y mi mujer no soportaba el sabor que dejaba el agua. En principio no me atrevía a comprar este por si nos pasaba lo mismo. He de decir que el agua embotellada no le hace ni sombra al agua de mi osmosis. Es expectacular el sabor que deja en el agua y lo mejor es que alcaliniza el agua. Hasta mi hija de 5 años me dice que el agua está buenísima,cosas que con el otro me decía que sabía muy rara y apenas bebía, solo cuando la enfría vamos, en cambio ahora cada dos por tres me pide agua por lo buena que está al paladar. Diría que se asemeja a Fontvella, pero aseguro que probando Fontvella la de mi osmosis sabe mejor todavía. Recomendable 100% No pongo imagen ya que de poco sirve.. el post-filtro es tal cual se ve en la foto 100% Además trae conexiones y manguera de 1/4 y de 3/8. Y mini rollito de teflon. Todo lo necesario para abrir y montar. Encantado con su compra y con un precio muy competitivo, ahora falta ver si duración...

6 stage filter it was good but now I ad the 7 alkaline one and I have to say it's even better
