Tenergy AA Rechargeable Battery, High Capacity 2500mAh NiMH AA Battery, 1.2V Double A Batteries, 12 Pack

The product meets expectations. I have used it for remote controls of electronic equipment (Home Theater receiver, Directv, Television, DVR), and for other purposes such as for special measuring equipment at my work, which, after recharging, has an acceptable lifespan.

So far these work fine, I originally thought they were not holding a charge, only to realize that it was my charger to blame, my charger apparently can't read the batteries charge, I didn't realize that until a couple of months after I got it.

I've used these for remote keyboards, computer mouse, and remote controls. They really do work great. I haven't done any scientific tests but it seems like EBL do last a little bit longer but not much if that's accurate. I use these constantly and have rotated through them many times. They don't seem to be degrading over time as I've noticed with other brands like enelop. I'm writing this review with accessories powered by these batteries right now :)

I have used these Tenergy batteries to run a Boss GT-1 digital guitar effect unit, which runs on qty 4 -1.5 volt batteries. These batteries work great and last at least 4 hours, no problem. When they discharge, I rotate 4 more in and keep going.

I have used this brand for years. Some of my current collection have been recharged hundreds of times. Eventually they wear out and will not take a charge but by then you have saved a small fortune in regular alkaline batteries. I also have never had a rechargeable battery leak damaging the light or device. The capacity is less than an alkaline and the voltage is lower so some devices will not work with them, but most do.

We love having these around for all the toys 🤪. Saves money and better than throwing away batteries.

I ran some basic capacity tests on these Tenergy AA NiMh batteries and my results conflict with the capacity claim of 2500. I found the capacity varies quite a bit from cell to cell. My test parameters were 75F ambient temp, 40% humidity, 500mA load. They were cycled at least twice but there was little improvement. It's possible Tenergy uses a much lower load to get their capacity rating, but even that won't account for the wide variance in capacity from cell to cell. I usually avoid Tenergy because I've never had good results from them compared to other comparable batteries. I bought these in a hurry for some solar lights that will be installed on a remote building and they were cheap enough to be disposable. As you can see from my tests, the capacity was as low as 1862mAh and Max capacity was 2218mAh I don't recommend Tenergy if you are looking for consistency or longevity. Maybe in a pinch where quality makes little difference they will do. I would rate these as Bottom Tier.
