Ardwolf A60 Keyless Entry Fingerprint Lock，Electronic Autolock Biometric 304 Stainless Steel Door Lock with Right-Handle,Smart Lock with Keys for Garage Homes Front Door

The A60 s a very sturdy and nice looking biometric, code and key lock. This is my 3rd biometric lock. I had the Ardwolf A1 in 2017 prior this one and while I liked the A1, the A60 is a nice upgrade. Prior to these two, I had a different brand which failed in less than a year. The customer service at ardwolf is supreme.

Awesome lock, kids installed it in 1 hr, works like a charm. They love it too.

So installation was pretty straight forward (note you lose the deadbolt) and entering you finger print was easy. I like the 2 factor authentication but still trying to apply code . What make thing harder in the fact that their is only 8 numbers . Aside from that i really like the easy of getting in my home. The finger print ready is not perfect i get failed to read errors from time to time but it still good. I slso lile the usb power back up not being able to get in my house because of dead batteries in a deal breaker. Hope this review was helpful

The lock was very easy to install, probably took me 10 minutes. The fingerprint reader is easy to program and reads my finger about 90% of the time. Which is about as good as my cell phone reader, so acceptable. Looks nice on the door and is a real convenience that I don't have to hunt down the key to this room every time I need to get into it.

Aesthetically, this looks great. It looks and feels very well made. Functionally, it can see some improvements. The touch screen is a little slow in regards to responsiveness. Sometimes it wakes up with a single touch, sometimes it takes a couple tries. The biometric scanner reads very well. The programming is not difficult. Additionally, and this is why I rated it low is because my unit arrived with a scratch on the touch screen and after a few days, the gears seem to have become stripped, and will not open my door. Not even with the key. Thankfully, I was able to pop down in my office through my crawl space and open it from the other side, only after completely taking it off of the door. Maybe I received a returned unit, or just one that fell through QC.

My biggest concern with these kind of locks is what happens if your battery dies. This unit has multiple fail safes to address this issue. First an alarm will light and beep if the battery is going low...and it takes regular batteries not some weird size you have to special order. Next, there is a key entry if you need it and finally it can be hooked up to a power bank to gain entry. I think the quality, ease of installation and additional security measures make it worth the price.

Update 04/06/2021: Ardwolf reached out to us via email and told us to reach out to their after sales support team so we will see what happens. Just sent and them an email and proof of purchase. Will update the post as we go. Stay tuned. Update: 03/29/2021: Unfortunately this door lock did not last as long as the original one we replaced - this one did not even last a year. Bought the Asurion 3yr Protection Plan but they referred us to the manufacturer so why buy the protection plan. Ardwolf's line has been busy for the last hour. We will see what happens. What a major improvement over the A20 Biometric Keyless Entry Door Lock which we had for 3 and a half years till the handle finally broke off from the constant wear and tear. I highly recommend the A60. We bought two so we do not have to issue keys and don't have to worry about replacing lost keys either. Will be using the other one for a secured storage room for our offices. Hook up your computer to the door lock and download the info to see who is accessing the offices at what days and times. Love the redesign in shape and the fact that the door lock is now waterproof and rated for outdoor use. Everything is now programmed from the outside - no going inside the unit itself to program anything. Much, much better redesign and functionality. New door lock fit right in place where the old one was. Installation was easy breezy and insurance available to purchase which we bought. Kudos to Ardwolf for taking a product and making it better plus offering a coupon at time of purchase (making the 40.00 increase in price after discount well worth the investment) and Amazon for carrying the product. Will be needing a third lock soon for a satellite office and will be definitely purchasing another A60 door lock. Job well done Ardwolf!

We were securing the door from our garage to the house with this but the original set up is a door handle and a deadbolt above it. The Ardwolf lock is tall and overlapped the deadbolt hole so I had to remove the deadbolt but was left with a partial hole that I couldn't fill. I ended up not using the lock and would go for the A1 lock instead. Customer service did not know what to do apparently because they didn't reply to my e-mail about it.
