All 5 of mine work, great for hearing impaired people who want to play :)
For the price, I give these a 5. This is my first experience with a piezo pickup or really any kind of pickup. I got these because I wanted to do a cheap experiment to see if they'd amplify my ukulele & guitar well enough that I could hear them & also if they'd work so I could use headphones. I'm hearing impaired & trying to learn how to play but could never tell if I was hitting the right notes. Watching a tuner constantly to see if the notes were right is very distracting to learning (for me anyway). All five of these piezos work, which isn't always the case when you buy multiples of things with wires -- as I'm sure you've also found yourself. So... having all 5 work earns it the 5 stars in my book. They do exactly what I bought them to do & I'm thankful they were so cheap. They don't look terrible & I have just enough to put one on each of my instruments. I worried that the color would look crappy on my instruments, but it looks nice. The red part kind of has a sheen. I don't know how they are to remove because I'll never take them off. They're pretty versatile in that they work just as well on my guitars, mandolin, and mountain dulcimer as they do on my uke. Since this is my first experience with piezos, I don't have anything to compare the sound quality to, but they don't sound offensive even in my headphones. They weren't hard to put on. I spent a little time researching the best place to put it. I'm just happy I can hear with them & they weren't expensive. If they wear out, I'll be happy as a clam to rebuy the same set. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat & trust this brand. Note: I still don't know what the binder clips are for ๐ I may post a question to ask.

Perfect for upright bass.
Whether itโs $100 or $3, a piezo is a piezo. And this is a piezoโbut like, โbuy one, get four free.โ You canโt go wrong. Captures every nuance of my upright bass. Peel and stick, right to the bridge. Velcroโd the jack to the tailpiece. In business in under a minute. Love it. Plus, I have four of these left over. Hmmmโฆ UPDATE: After experimenting with placement some more, I actually like the sound better when it's stuck directly to the top of the bass, in line with the bass bar/bass-side bridge foot, about 3/4" toward the tailpiece (approximate mirror image of the soundpost position on the treble side).

Acoustic drum usage
They work great, I use them with a Roland v-drum module on acoustic drums to mix with the microphone sound , but the adhesive sucks!

high impedance
As most contact mics are, these are high impedance and are not meant to plug into a handheld recorder like I planned to do. It should work fine with an amp though. Either I didn't read the description clearly or it didn't say it.

Good Stuff
Good quality for the price. Excellent ease of use for my noise making projects. The material of the adhesive is better than expected with minimal vibration dampening, something I was concerned with. Will likely buy again.

Excellent Performing Pick Up
This Pick Up (in a Kit of 5 each) has worked excellently for me. I build harps for a living. I bought a set of these to try in my harps, to be used for tuning the many strings of a harp. These brand Pick Up has worked perfectly. I plug my higher-quality electronic tuner into the 1/4" jack of the Pick-Up and I can tune every single string, right on up to the harder to detect high treble strings! This is no common feat. Even the best of electronic tuners, whether using their open-air microphones or external clip-on pickups traditionally have a hard time when it comes to working well on harps. They will often miss the notes, especially the high treble notes. Or, you have to continually pluck a string for the tuner to eventually register. And, that is an issue when one is tuning anywhere from 22 to 40-something strings at a time every day. So, I was excited when this pickup allowed my electronic tuner to detect every single note, at every single pluck of each string the very first time. This has greatly improved my tuning accuracy while cutting down my time quite a lot! I was so enthused about this Pickup's performance I thought I should write a good review for it, which reviews I never usually take time to write. I have not yet tried it in my Bose portable line array sound system to see how the Pickup might perform on a sound system. When I do, I will write another review. What makes this Pickup so good is on one of my larger harps, I have a very expensive dual pickup system mounted to the harp's soundboard and it doesn't work as well as this single unit nor does the dual-pickup work with any quality on my Bose sound system (very noisy and inefficient). Thus, I highly recommend this unit for harp players and makers. For sound system performance, the jury is still out on that one. As I wrote above, I will test this and write another review.

Good product
Good product. I tried an experiment by using these to be a pickup for Glockenspiels. The result was marginal. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it did capture the sound.
