Quality fit, material, and workmanship.
Westinghouse 11000 TFc tri-fuel: I hear tell a picture is worth a thousand words. With the excellent manual picture guide and instructions, I had no problems assembling the gen cover. At seventy-three years old, I took my time, and in 1.5 hours the cover installed perfectly. At four of the frame stress points, in addition to the Velcro straps, I added a nylon zip tie with the cut edge downward to prevent any punctures, just for giggles. This cover is well thought out, and the material seems to be very durable. Following the instructions, I made sure the cover flap on the side of the handle was not reversed before I started Velcro fastening, and the top cover was positioned correctly to refuel with gas (I use only propane). If avoidable, I do not intend to operate the generator in the rain for obvious reasons. But it appears this cover will allow safe operation in a surprise rain shower. This is a very convenient two-in-one cover that suits my needs, with a fair price, a lot cheaper than buying or building a generator shed.

Great Protection and Very Easy to Use
I bought this cover for my Briggs & Stratton Storm Responder 6500, and it has been a great addition. Assembly was quick and straightforward. There was no complicated setup, and it was ready to go in just a few minutes. The design is well thought out and fits nicely over the generator while still allowing for easy access when needed. The material feels very durable and high quality. It does a great job protecting the working parts of the generator from rain and the elements, which is exactly what I was looking for. One of the biggest advantages is that it can be used while the generator is running during a storm or, so everything stays protected when you need it most. Based on the build quality, I expect this to hold up well for years. I also really like the flap design. The flaps are secured with velcro straps, which keep everything in place, but they can easily be rolled up when you need access to the outlets, controls, or for refueling. That makes it very convenient to use without constantly removing the cover. Overall, this is a simple, effective solution for protecting your generator while keeping it accessible and usable in bad weather. Definitely worth it if you want to keep your generator in good condition and ready to go!

Instructions missing one critical step
I have to say (based on 1 day's experience) that this seems a quality product, well designed and well thought out. It takes a few moments to get inside the head of the writer who laid out the assembly instructions, but overall the illustrations are straightforward and reasonably comprehensive. Obviously I can't address durability as I've only had the cover for one day. The materials appear to be heavy duty and quality so if the customer reads the operating instructions it should last very well. But... There is one flaw in the assembly instruction sequence. Once you've assembled the aluminum tube framework the next step shown is to anchor it via the supplied zip-ties to the frame surrounding your generator. Having done that and moving on to hanging the side panels of the cover, I found that two of the longitudinal frame tubes were spaced too far apart to accommodate the velcro flaps that are supposed to wrap around the tubing. No mention is made in the instructions that it's possible to adjust the bar spacing properly to ensure their positioning doesn't interfere with the velcro flap securing. Since the framework and velcro locations are known dimensions, the instructions should indicate the exact measurement between tubes---PRIOR---to securing the frame with the zip ties. Other than that "nit" I'm satisfied with my purchase and the quality of the product. It fits my WGen7500DF with room to spare.

Great Product
I was a bit skeptical about the installation of this product after reading the reviews; however I liked the concept and wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I received the 2021 version and had a very easy time with the assembly. This company listened to the feedback from us and corrected the issues people were having. The poles now screw into each other so no electrical tape is needed to hold them together as one reviewer had to do. I took my time and the assembly went well - no issues. Functionally, this is great for storage and use in inclement weather. With all the flaps down and secured, my generator is fully protected from accumulating dust and dirt in the garage. Although I have not used it in the rain, the design looks solid and should keep the unit dry. 3 of the 4 flaps need to be folded up when the unit is in use for ventilation. The flaps are very easy to fold up and have hooks to easily secure them in the up position. Good Engineering went into this design and I commend the vendor for a great product. I used this on a Briggs and Stratton 30470 700 Watt generator.

Perfect fit for my WGen11500TFc generator
The IGAN running cover fits my Westinghouse model WGen11500TFc perfectly.... All the water-proof flaps, side covers, and refueling access cover seem to be durable and functional.... With the cover installed the generator doesn't require any additional storage space.... I carefully read and followed the instructions, and it took less than 45 minutes to assemble and fully install (no tools required).... Per the IGAN website the cover will not fit a WGen12000 (or larger, I assume).... When operating the generator all the side covers except for the controls / outlets need to be folded up and and hooked to allow for full air circulation and exhaust flow.... So, I don't think it's suitable for running the generator during a driving rain / wind storm even with the "high wind attachments".... But it should be OK for light to moderate precipitation and 15-20 mph winds....

Excellent engineering; great assembly manual
I am quite impressed with several things about this generator cover. Although I have only had it for about a month, I believe it will be very durable. It seems to be made of better material than the cover that came with the generator as well as the usual grill covers, etc. Secondly, the engineering behind the cover is impressive. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into it, and that engineering continues. For example, earlier reviews mentioned using tape to hold the various pieces together during assembly. The frame pieces now screw together, eliminating the need for tape and making assembly easier than described by earlier customers. Thirdly, the assembly manual is without question the best I can remember ever seeing. It is clearly illustrated with high-quality photos and clear descriptions. It is a refreshing change from some other companies that use poorly-translated manuals or documentation that is clearly an afterthought. You do need to read and follow the manual, as assembly is not necessarily intuitive, but it is made much easier by the clarity of the instructions. Fourth, I like the fact that the cover can be left on during generator operation, giving some protection to the electrical connection during rain or snow events. Most covers probably have to be removed when the generator is running, but this one can be left in place, with three sides rolled up for airflow and one side down over the electrical outlets. I can only mention two potential downsides to the product: First, I agree with posters concerned about rainwater pooling on the flat top, possibly leading to intrusion through the cover, or discoloration, or possibly even mosquito breeding potential. I wish it had some sort of slope built in for better water shedding. In fairness, that issue was mentioned in previous reviews and was clear in the photos, so I bought the cover with full knowledge of that potential, so I have no real complaint. Second, the frame supporting the cover uses some plastic fittings (presumably to reduce the size of the shipping box) to connect frame pieces. Two of the T-fittings in my shipment came with splits in the plastic on one leg of the fittings (photo). I assembled and used it anyway, and haven’t noticed that the splits affect anything, but I am uncertain about the long-term durability of those plastic fittings, particularly during cold weather. Time will tell. Overall, I recommend the cover for a generator stored outdoors.

Perfect Fit for My Westinghouse 9500W — Must-Have in Hurricane-Prone Florida
I bought the **IGAN Generator Cover While Running** for my **Westinghouse dual fuel 9500W generator**, and it fits perfectly. The design is smart and practical — it allows full ventilation while protecting the generator from rain, wind, and flying debris, which is absolutely essential here in **hurricane-prone Tampa, FL**. The material is **ultra heavy-duty**, and you can tell it’s built to last. Setup was quick, and the frame holds steady even during gusty conditions. I’ve run my generator during storms with this cover on, and everything stayed dry and secure. If you live in a storm-prone area or just want peace of mind during outdoor use, this cover is a no-brainer. It’s one of those accessories that proves its value the moment the weather turns. **Highly recommended for anyone relying on a generator for backup power — especially in Florida.**

Great product
I just purchased this cover for my Champion 11250 generator and received it the next day. The cover is of great quality and the installation was very easy. Those instructions are the best I have seen in a long time. Clear English and great pictures. The cover fits perfectly and is very sturdy on the generator. I ran the generator yesterday to see how the cover would work. It is easy to open (and to keep open with the hooks) and does not interfere with the operation of the generator at all. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great Protection
I have a Powerhouse inverter generator and have been looking for a solid cover for some time now. We've tried tarps, makeshift covers or anything simple to protect it. Sure there are several covers on the market, however, many of them are made very cheap. This cover (although pricy) is very well made. The cover's material is the big selling feature. It's well made, thick and seems like it should last some time. The frame is "ok" though. It's nice and lightweight, but the poles are made of very thin metal and the plastic components are tight and easy to crack if you aren't careful with your assembly. A gentle touch is recommended here. Although my particular generator was not on their list of models, it still suits it quite well. As you can see from the photos, there is a decent overlap on each end. This is particularly useful for the exhaust side as it is far enough away to not heat up the material. The control side is still easily accessed and the overlap is helpful here for any larger extensions that you may have protruding. It keeps them covered from the elements. You can easily fold the flaps back down over an extension without it propping up the flap. The top flaps fold up on either side to access your fuel port. I'm lucky that mine is offset and not directly in the center as this cover doesn't allow for easy access to center fuel caps. All the other flaps fold up nicely and are easily secured in place with the included hooks. The velcro is also quite strong keeping everything in line. There is a more expensive version of this cover and after looking more closely the only difference is that it includes tie down ropes and stakes to secure in strong wind. You can easily make your own and save a few bucks. The cover does go on sale once in a while. It is an expensive cover when you compare it to other options out there, however, this one is well made and has several nice touch options that make it worth the price. Overall, if you're looking for a solid cover that will protect your expensive generator from the elements for years to come, this is the one to pick. Pros: Thick, protective material Easy to assemble/disassemble Can fit or adjust to pretty much any type of generator. They include several velcro straps to tie down the frame to your generator Cons: Frame is very lightweight and easy to bend Plastic components crack easy if you force too much (just assemble carefully) Generators with center fuel caps will be more difficult to fill

Absolutely recommend
I am so very impressed with the quality of this product and even more so impressed with the exceptional instructions (complete with photos and circles to emphasize what to do and what not to do!) I have an A I-powered 9000 and this cover is sturdy and fits perfectly. I don’t usually write reviews, but this product merits it.
