I actually bought this heater based on a TikTok video of someone safety testing different brands of space heaters. This one performed well and matched my price point. My bedroom has two drafty windows that keep the room a few degrees colder than the rest of the apartment and turning the heat up makes it too warm everywhere else. This heater is small but mighty! It warmed my room from 67 degrees to 74 in less than 10 minutes! I learned quickly that I do not need to use the high fan setting or turn the heater on higher than the 4th setting. It warms the room without heating up the table it sits on. I like that it turns on and off automatically to keep steady temperature. It has a safety button on the bottom that shuts it off automatically if it gets knocked over or isn’t sitting flat. I do always unplug it when I leave and while sleeping because I like it cooler at night. It is a little louder than I would like, but I don’t mind it too much. I love this heater and would recommend it to everyone.

I have an out-building that i have set up as a "She Shack" with a comfy chair, an electric tea pot and books. The area is sealed to wind and rain but there's no heat. I enjoy it so much i bought this to see if you could hear up the space so i could use it all year. I'm a night owl, so i use it mostly after dark and we had a few 30 degree nights and it's been rainy and cold at the area is feeling damp and chilled when i first go in. Shockingly... In 3 minutes on full fan and half heat, the area is toasty. This really puts out an amazing amount of heat and i didn't even have it on full heat. I found that i have to put it on the floor, out into the space because of it's on the counter, the heat rushes up to the ceiling and doesn't seem to move. With it on the floor, out into the room, the heat naturally rises and circulates really quickly. It was 45° the other night, and it had the chill and damp feeling off the room in under 2 minutes and i turned it off when the room felt really nice (67°) in 5 minutes. That same night, after 4 hours i popped it on again for about 3 minutes and i was very comfy again. I'm not using the thermostat because I'm running it when i need it but when it thinks it should. This is way over sized for my 12x12 room so it would be wonderful in an even larger space but I'm very happy with just needing to run it for a few minutes because it is oversized for my use. Very quiet too and it has the button safety button so if it gets knocked over it shuts off instantly. It cools down almost instantly and it's small enough to hide in my big drawer until i need it. I have only guys things to say about it. I asked AI Copilot to find me a space heater for my needs and this was the top pick. I only paid $19 for it because of a lightning deal but knowing what i know about it now, if i wanted to buy another, I'd willingly pay up to $39 for it if i had to. Really works well for my needs. I have troubles with body temp regulation since being put on meds so I needed a fan/heater duo for a small office space to replace my previous broken one that sat on my desk for years. This exceeded my requirements and expectations, as I believe this can heat up an entire room if needed. It's almost overkill for a desk heater. It gets very warm in seconds and I never bother to even use the higher temperature. The fan is nice too and it doesn't take much to cool down even after swapping between heater and fan. I appreciate this heater has three safety features - the knob to turn on, the knob to swap between heater/fan (which also has an off setting), the anti-tip-over flat surface button/sensor and apparently even a overheat auto shut-off feature that I thankfully haven't needed in the three months I've had this.

I use this heater under my desk in my classroom and it has served me very well. However, this morning I started to smell smoke and looked over to the heater. Sure enough, a small amount of smoke was coming up from the heater. The good news is the automatic shut off for overheating worked perfectly. Within three seconds of my observation of smoke, it had shut itself off. I am not sure if it is done for good as it is unplugged and cooling right now, but it did the job of safety which is huge. 4 stars because it caught smoke in the first place, but will probably buy again since I watched the failsafe in action. Would recommend.

This heater is awesome. Budget friendly too. Simple design. Gets hot instantly. I bought it for drying my clothes faster on a drying rack in my apt. My clothes are dry (with a fan blowing on them as well) in 20 mins! Highly recommend. I'm sure it would heat up a bedroom or bathroom easily.

For this Amazon Basics space heater, you are really getting quality items at affordable prices. While there is nothing special about this heater besides it's price, that is the main reason why you should buy this. It's affordable but the quality is not amazing. That's not even near decent. One small drop will shatter the corner of the plastic housing on the unit. It's not built very tough or durable and it's mainly meant for you to just set it and forget it. If you have kids then this is not ideal. They will easily knock this over and will crack this thing and you will have to buy another one. What I do like is the price. It really reflects that this is an Amazon Basic item. Low quality but affordable price. The size is not that big either and this fits into the corner of a small room. It works well for small spaces but I wouldn't recommend using this for medium size spaces. It has an auto shut off for when it reaches the set temperature just like other space heaters. The safety features are all standard and there is nothing that really makes the stand above the rest. It just deserves five stars for being cheap and able to replace as needed

Excellent for your basic, small, portable, powerful heat beast. I have it on the lowest setting and it heats up a super large, old house bedroom in less than 10 mins, and I just turn it off. You can just the temp control button but I find for safety reasons, if the machine turns off due to it reaching its maximum setting, it sometimes won’t turn back on until the temp has dropped a little, so you just have to turn it up a bit more. It’s super lightweight but really well made. Not cheap lightweight. It’s bigger than expected too. Almost a foot tall, 7”W, 5.5”D with heat that packs a punch! I am replacing my 10 year old almost exact same one from Staples (back when we shopped inside stores lol) and it’s uncanny how identical they look, just more futuristic. But the difference in how much heat blows out is insane. I used to always use the highest setting running constantly. Now I use this 5 mins at a time about once an hour. At the almost lowest setting. I’m probably saving so much money in electricity. Arrived exact day it was supposed to. Perfect condition. Opened box, plugged it in and HEAT. 30 seconds. Love it. Recommend it 100%.
