We have not swam with the product at the time of this review, though I feel they will work well based on the stiffness. My daughter's were excited to try them on, they fit perfect! My eldest does not need the added the foam pad, while my youngest likes the fit with it. Quote from my eldest daughter: "Look mom, they have the GOOD strap - it won't hurt or slide off! It fits perfect - I can't wait to swim!" I was happy the packaging contained 1 zip tie and plastic piece, while the rest is cardboard! It was easy to open. I am hopeful for a couple of years use out of these because of the quality - they seem very durable. If my review changes after we swim, I will come back & update. I purchased two pink & purple due to a sale - definitely worth the $25! I am keeping an eye for the blue to go on sale.

Fantastic you wouldnt beleive how fast this girl can swim w/ this She rivals me w/ my scuba pro jet fins. hard to take but being challenged by a 7yr old is humbling. Add the mer-suit and what a cool setup. the girl thinks shes a mermaid. very wide range of fit and although new seems really well built

Yes! Hours of fun being a mermaid
Wow, among the grandkids it has brought hours and hours of fun. They have been over four times to swim since we received it and this mermaid flipper has been in use every second they have been in the pool. One struggled with the movement but couldn't let it rest until she mastered it. It has velcro straps around the heels for size adjustability. The design holds the legs together so you swim like a mermaid. The packaging, quality and shipping have all worked beautifully. I guess the only thing left is for me to try it

Kids aged 5-13 loved playing with these on spring break.
Both kids (9 and 12) loved these. Multiple kids have borrowed as well and the adjustable sizing is FANTASTIC. The kids can even take out a foam pad that is optional over the top of the arch of the foot. My kids and the other kids at the pool were HARD on these fins, they’re very durable. Definitely recommend.
