Bluetooth V5.0 Output Audio Receiver, KINDRM Mini Wireless 3.5mm Jack Aux Adapter Portable for Headphones, Speakers, Car/Home Stereo System(Black)

For $8.99, I was looking at this purchase only as a test case to see how well everything connected etc. between my macbook pro and my Bose Wave CD player with no Bluetooth. I figured that once I knew that everything worked well, that I would invest in a more expensive receiver with better sound quality. But this one is doing the job very well, and I'm perfectly happy with the sound quality. I did some quick comparisons with this, plugging directly into the minijack, and I don't notice a huge difference. True audiophiles probably would, but a true audiophile wouldn't be using Bluetooth in the first place. The battery life is pretty good, although I usually have it plugged in. Even the latency isn't that bad when I'm watching youtube videos, etc., although I'm sure that the small lag would be more of an issue for gamers who would want things like an aptX codec in their receivers. All in all, I'm very pleasantly surprised with this and would recommend trying it before investing in a more expensive receiver. Quick addendum: sometimes when the unit is plugged into the USB power and has automatically powered itself down after some time, it's a bit glitchy to switch it back on. Simple fix though. Just unplug from USB power, switch it on, and plug it back in. Hope that's helpful.

This device is amazingly small, slightly smaller than a chapstick. Don't know how they can cram a Bluetooth receiver, headphone amplifier, and rechargeable battery, along with two connectors and three buttons in that small volume. :-) I bought this for wireless headphone listening from my TV using the Bluetooth output from an Amazon Fire TV Stick, and it works well for that. I've had it on when I walked into another room, and it kept working at about 30' away and through a wall. I didn't test the sound quality with music, but it's clear for TV dialog listening. Once paired, It connects automatically when turned on. I got over 6 hours of battery time before it stopped. This is some less than the advertised time of 8 hours, but I think that's due to the extra power it takes to drive the low-impedance headphones. The 8 hours may be if it's connected to a high-impedance input, such as an audio amplifier, but 6 hours is more than enough for my purposes. The only minor negative, is that I can't use its buttons for volume control, since they somehow generate a return-to-program-beginning TV signal on the Stick, but that's not a problem since I found I can control it from my Stick remote volume control. Note that the supplied small instruction sheet is in Chinese, but the instructions on its Amazon listing are in clear enough English.

Work well and connects to Bluetooth easily. I recommend for the low price and small size. I modified to attach to my motorcycle helmets.

First, this device paired immediately and perfectly and is 100% functional as a Bluetooth receiver. I use it to make wireless headphones out of an old wired pair, and to act as a wireless receiver for a DJ sound system so it's not tethered to a laptop. One less wire to mess with. Instructions are adequate. Better than most Chinese-translated manuals. And speaking of wires, the included USB to micro USB cable used to charge the device was defective. It would not charge from multiple USB ports on the laptop or using other plug-in wall or car USB chargers. So it's not a USB port issue - it's the cable. This wasn't critical as I had a number of micro USB cables available, and you probably do too. But if I didn't there would have been no way to charge the receiver (it came charged at 70%) and it would have been returned as defective. So it gets 3 stars. 5 for flawless Bluetooth, 0 for the bad cable, I rounded up.

Though I never expect many performance features when an item like this is priced so low but I figured at this price I could buy several different bluetooth transmitter / receivers to determine which is best long term. At first this unit actually performed quite well. Solid bluetooth communication. Louder than most others with respect to output listening volume. And solid buttons that won't respond to light accidental pressings. However, I also like to test and see if units like this can function if also plugged-into the USB for full-time power during play. And that's where this thing now only failed, it's now stuck in a loop where I cannot even power the thing off. Nothing I try works to power this unit off and until it does, I'll have no idea whether or not I'm going to be able to re-establish connection to my phone. And I'm not going to wait to find out because another unit (see my other reviews if you care to find it) for only $11 blew this device out of the water with its out-of-the-box performance. So, nawww. It had a lot of promise for such a small device with a built-in clip. But no cigar.

I have used this both at home and at work. It was great for my wired headphones to connect to my phone while working in the yard. While at work I plug my computer speakers in to listen to music and baseball games. I have been using it for over a year and it still is working great!

This is great for price!! I originally thought mine was a dud because it wouldn’t pair. DUH! The easy fix was just deleting the “Bluetooth Music” and repairing!! I can now use my favorite wired earbuds with my iPhone 15. I bought a second and now use one while the other is charging. Funny note - One says “Connected” in English and the other in an Asian language. 😄 Older review: I have no idea why these this quit working. It was great until it wasn’t. It will no longer pair/connect with my phone. It is always on my bed table so, no stress or damage. I loved it until it didn’t work. I have to say I was quite disappointed, because it was just what I needed for all my old wired earbuds and my iPhone 15.

I bought this product to use with my Nintendo Switch when I dock it. I prefer wired mediums when it comes to gaming and my TV set up is too far for my wired headset to reach my resting point(5ft gap.) The latency is obvious and disorienting when playing any game. I tested this product with phone calls and music and the latency is there but not as obvious nor disturbing enough to dismiss the product's function. Switching from receiver to auxiliary is a snap. Simply disconnect your wired headphones and plug the 3.5mm double sided jack included with the device and hook it up to a radio/speaker aux port and it works just fine. No buttons to push or modes to change on the product. The charge port uses Micro-USB which is included. If you need to connect your phone to older tech that uses aux, then this is a good device to do so. You can also use it with retro music devices to connect your Bluetooth headphones as well. As the product details suggest. It sends and receives. Battery life exceeds my product testing duration so I'm not sure how long it goes between charges. Charge to full was about 45 min straight out the package and it was dead. I tried to turn it on and connect to it prior to charging and it wouldn't turn on. And lastly, this device works while charging.

The built in battery failed after a few months and the product could only be thrown away.

The little 3.5 mm auxiliary adapter doesn't fit the plug to my headphones - Audio Technica ATH MSR7. That's the main reason why I bought them. Doesn't work unless I plug it at the other end of the cable, which doesn't make sense. I got it to have a wireless headphone.

The included instructions were for a slightly different version of the Device. Presumably it has been updated since these were printed. It paired with my iPhone and appeared as a connected Bluetooth device however attempting to connect to the device as an AirPlay sound output just fails. You get to hear a beep through the headphones but that’s it. I tried it separately with headphones and an amplifier, and none of them worked. I tried changing the Bluetooth settings to recognise it as various headphones and car stereo connection types, but they all failed to produce sound. Like another review I quite enjoyed reading, this thing does seem to be a waste of perfectly good atoms.

Well, for the price I can't complain. But battery is very low, barely reaching 3 hours of listening and sometimes you have to twist the jack connector to have sound on both earbuds. Usable but do not recommend.
