Comfortable an easy to use.
Very nice and comfortable. Can actually prop both legs if need to, love the 2 handles to pull to align back of leg to best comfortable position. I use to occasionally raise my foot above heart level to reduce swelling in ankle when overworking or standing too long.

A Must-Have Leg Elevation Pillow for Recovery
As a mom of three, breaking my ankle and leg in multiple places right before Thanksgiving was not something I was prepared for. This was actually the very first item I purchasedโbefore I even had surgeryโbecause the ER staff stressed how critical proper elevation would be for recovery. I also remembered my father-in-lawโs experience and knew that stacking pillows never really works long term. Iโve now been using this elevation cushion daily for about six weeks, and it has been absolutely essential. The size is excellent and provides proper elevation even when Iโm sitting up in bed. The flat surface is longer than my leg, which gives me flexibility. When my heel needs relief, I simply add a small memory foam pillow between my leg and the cushion so my foot can hang off slightlyโsomething that has made a big difference in comfort. The top of the cushion is gently curved, which keeps my leg from sliding off and adds a surprising level of stability. That curve also helps hold any additional pillows in place, almost like a supportive โhugโ for your leg. This has been especially nice during the times Iโm able to take my boot off. (For anyone unfamiliar, the boot is the support brace given post-surgery; I received mine about two weeks after surgery.) The design details are very well thought out. There are two straps on the angled side closest to you, which make it easy to pull the cushion back toward you or adjust it when sitting up. One side also has a handle, which has been incredibly helpful for moving it around the house. In fact, my youngest son has proudly carried it from the bed to the couch for meโeven though itโs nearly as big as he is. Between managing recovery and still being โmomโ to three kids, this cushion has been a lifesaver. Itโs comfortable, practical, and truly designed for real-life use during a long recovery.

MUST HAVE FOR ACL SURGERY RECOVERY
A MUST HAVE FOR ACL SURGERY!!! Really any knee/leg surgery that you need to elevate. This is my second ACL surgery, originally was not going to purchase as I could just use pillows like last time, so thankful I purchased!!! I was concerned that it would be uncomfortable with my brace locked at 0โข however itโs working great!!!!!! 10/10 recommend

Fantastic Leg Elevation Pillow
I love this leg elevation pillow. When I broke my ankle the ER told me to keep it elevated on pillows. Regardless of how many pillows I had under my ankle/leg, they always slipped and fell on the floor countless times. It was much easier to ice my ankle since there is a U-shaped dip in the middle where your leg lies instead of it slipping off. This pillow allowed my leg to be propped up way above my heart, as directed by medical staff. For me I could fit both legs on the pillow if I wanted to, and I am a woman about a size 14. It accommodates left or right legs. It was the perfect firmness, not too hard or soft. I love how the front is angled to prop your leg up. It has two handles on the front angled portion and another large one on the left side. The cover can unzip to take off for washing. This was one of the great products that helped me recover for 3 months after surgery. I felt it was inexpensive for such a solid product. Warning, it arrives rolled up for delivery and it takes about 24 hours to increase to its normal size. I highly recommend this pillow.

Almost worked - Update
After recent knee surgery I was so looking forward to the type of relief this supportive pillow offered. Clearly it is designed with a specific purpose, which was precisely what I was searching for. I, unfortunately, did not receive what I was hoping for. After giving this twice the recommended time to fully expand, I am left with something which was quite clearly not cut properly before being compacted for packaging. The shape is wrong, and it is quite a bit lower on one side โ the wrong side, as it turns out, which is counterproductive to my particular situation. Quite simply it is deformed beyond usefulness and will not serve its intended purpose. In my case it was not money well spent. I suppose it should have been a bit of a red flag when a surgical pillow had accompanying documentation stating that it could also serve as a pet bed. I really wanted it to work so I will likely request a replacement and adjust my rating as appropriate. UPDATE: Given that my need was pretty much immediate, I cancelled my return and made some minor modifications so I could use it. Though the shape was off in two places, the support provided was sound once I used a bolster to put my leg in the correct position. This pillow is made of very supportive material and the length and height were just right for my situation.

You MUST buy this! Life saving!
*Heads up! It comes rolled up very tightly and takes 24 hours before it becomes full sized.* This is the most life saving product of all time! I absolutely INSIST you buy this if you need to elevate your leg for some reason. I broke my ankle and had to get surgery that same week. I started off using pillows stacked and it put a lot of pressure on painful spots on my ankle after surgery causing extreme pain. It was also hard to support my knee and thigh properly without causing them discomfort. My leg fell off of the pillows as I slept. I needed such a large quantity of pillows to get the right elevation and comfort that I had to use almost all of the pillows in the house. When moving from the bed to a chair I had to try to reconfigure the pillows it was a disaster! I ordered this the day after surgery and it came in one day. I had my boyfriend wait on the steps for this packages as soon as I saw it was ten stops away. (You can use it as itโs growing but is much more comfortable at peak size) I love that it has edges that prevent your foot from falling off. It is the perfect elevation. It has the gradual incline that provides knee and thigh support so youโre not putting pressure on your calf or foot. It is perfectly firm without being uncomfortable. Itโs not hard by any means but it keeps your leg in place which is crucial after surgery. I believe this significantly reduced post surgical pain. And makes every day life so much easier and more comfortable. Itโs light enough that I can throw it where Iโm going instead of trying to carry it on my crutches. Itโs easy to hoist up onto the bed or chair by the handle. Iโm also in love with the handle facing you so that you can pull it closer. The material is so soft and comfortable. I wish I could give this product 1000 stars. Literally life saving! I used to be very resistant to elevating my leg because it was so uncomfortable. Now itโs more comfortable than having my leg flat. The pictures I included are of me using it on a reclining chair and on my bed. Also the one on my bed is right after opening so itโs not full size yet.

YOU NEED this if you need to keep leg elevated
Perfect leg support to keep leg elevated! So much easier than trying to stack pillows which compress or slide around. Handles make it easy to carry or move. Highly recommended!

Works well to hold leg, elevate it, and help reduce swelling
The LIGHTEASE Memory Foam leg support was a lifesaver during my 1st 3 weeks after total knee replacement! It held my leg and knee stable and elevated at night, and ensured I wouldn't move or kick the bad leg with the good leg during the night. It helped keep the knee from swelling too much during the night. It at 1st feels weird, but not uncomfortable. I did check the 1st few days that it wasn't pressing on the back of the knee- and it wasn't! I did put a small rolled up towel alongside my foot in the groove to ensure my ankle didn't turn out at night. Even though it is bulky, with the side straps it is easy to adjust during the night and move around. I will definitely be keeping it to use if my other knee needs replacement

Helped with my broken ankle!
I absolutely loved this pillow when I broke my ankle last year. Being unable to use my ankle felt awful an having to constantly find pillows to prop it up was hard. Just buy this if you need to prop your leg up for a long amount of time. Its sturdy but also soft to the touch. WIth the carrying handle, I was able to use my knee scooter and bring this pillow with me at the same time! I also fangled my way to use the pillow so that I could sleep on my side without having my leg in any danger (put your good leg either in front of, behind, or underneath the leg pillow to get comfy). I haven't needed the pillow since I healed, but I'm keeping it in case anything happens in the future!

Needed for menicus and ACL surgery
I'll be getting meniscus and ACL surgery and this will do great propping up my leg. It comes very compact and after a few hours it fills up quite nicely to full size.

Excellent positioning tool post surgery
This was perfect for after my knee replacement. I used it in the car on the back seat to come home from hospital and then on the bed when using the cryo-cuff. It also worked well outside and in on a coffee table so I could use the living-room chairs.
