eMACROS Solar Sensor ONLY (Base Not Included) - Not for Pre-2022 Versions

Had a set (2 sensors and 2 receivers) of these for almost 4 years and they work very well. One was losing its ability to hold a charge, so I bought 2 new sensors. The didn't work with my receivers so I wrote an email to the supplier. About 12 hours later I got an email reply and a WhatsApp chat. I was able to pair the new sensors with my old receivers and all is good again. Took them 12 hours because they're in China, about 12 hours ahead of me. Of course a little piece of paper with instructions on how to pair would have solved everything, too, but this worked out just fine. I like this system and feel it's well worth the price!

The sensors are reactive and warn us of any outside movement. Have four of the sensors and one receiver. Each has a 4-way switch for choosing the sound and channel for each sensor. Also a sensitivity switch. When the deer show up to eat the arborvitae in the yard in the winter, we know it and are able to chase them off. When the neighbors cat comes to piss in the bushes around the front door, we know and chase him off. When the raccoons would come into the backyard for the bird seed we would know and chase them off. When the UPS driver approaches the house we know it and get our packages handed to us. 4 years on and the batteries and solar panels that charge the batteries are still just fine. The ONLY thing that may happen is radio interference from another device. Used to have 7 children next door and a toy they had would set off just one of the sensors over and over until we had to disable that channel 3 sensor temporarily. Remember that this is an offline system, no hackers to ruin your day. The radio range is good, so good, if our neighbor down the street a block away had the setup we have, I’d bet we would interfere with each other’s sensors. So don’t tell your neighbor about these and be the only one in your block to have this kind of warning system installed. Really useful system!

I recently added these two sensors to my existing system. They work very well. They have a few improvements from the sensors in the original system. The one issue I have is there are no written instructions. You get a small card with two process QR Codes. The QR code for adding additional sensors shows pairing the four sensors all with the same chime sound. This is not true. Each channel has a unique sound. If you do not have the availability of a QR code reader, you are sunk!

Works for end of driveway lets you know when someone is coming in. Great product

1. Works through 6 inch wall w interior drywall and cedar siding to about 350 ft including trees if sited well, and multiple interior walls fir up to 200 ft. 2. A real pain in the A** ro set up (see 4 also), instruction really almost useless, finally got it going by trail and error over days. Apparently the techs, translaters, manual and video worker bees either never taled it out between themselves or never set up an actual system. SO plan on hours setting up the system's bade station, app, and sensors 3. Funtioned well about 1 yr then stopped, possibly due to going to mesh system...remarried the base station to the new WiFi mesh but sensors did not autoconnect, although the IR lights on the sensirs showed they were alive. 4. Finally retrieved the sensors and tried to pair. Got two working by trail and error and my own 2-yr-old-notes (not remotely related to eMacris instructions). 5. One sensor refused to pair and the IR light ceased detection movement, charged it, retried, does not connect...although the two other sensors at 350 and 200 ft again detecting people and cars.

I initially purchased two driveway sensors with a monitor in December of 2020. They worked great and we loved them. We have a driveway that is about 1/3 of a mile long and it really helps to know when someone is coming up. By having two, we usually know if it's just deer or other animals as only one or the other goes off. They stay charged even though one only gets sun part of the day. The furthest one from the monitor is about 1/4 of a mile and reception is great. Well all was well until we started getting alarms that weren't from our sensors. It took us awhile to figure out that one of our neighbors had bought the same driveway sensor system and our monitor was picking it up. It was driving us crazy so I emailed support. It turned out that the model we had was an older version and you could not program it to only pick up certain sensors. It had been 1 and 1/2 years since our purchase but they actually sent us a replacement sensor and monitor and it works great and we no longer are picking up our neighbors sensor. Really excellent customer service. When you purchase, just make sure you get the latest model (the one I'm reviewing) and you will not pick up other driveway alarms.

I attached sisal through the holes at the top and hang it on either side of our Motor Coach to detect motion outside when we are wild camping. Handy also for camp site camping. It alerts you if someone comes close to the RV and with motions sensor lights along with the alarm it is total protection. In the winter I will put them in the driveway and in the parking area. We bought two!

We bought this to add another sensor to our existing driveway alarm system. it took no time to set up, turned it on and it was up and running with our current system, which we think is awesome anyway.

I have been using these for a couple of years now they work awesome! No issues what so ever with these they are perfect, hardly ever get a faults ring on them even with trees and grass all around, they have an excellent range for them. Never had an issue with battery even though they are under a dense tree cover all summer, battery is still going strong.

We purchased this as a Hosmart solar sensor was not available at the time of purchase. We are very happy with this particular sensor and it appears to pick up peripheral movements.

I purchased this driveway alarm three years ago and installed it at the entrance to my property. It has worked very well ever since. It alerts us whenever someone enters the driveway, which is especially helpful when couriers leave packages without knocking, even during rainy days or hot summers, we don’t miss anything, thanks to the loud alert. The sensor works accurately if the angle is set correctly. From my experience, it catches about 99% of movements. There are rare misses, but overall it’s very reliable. After approximately 2.5 years, the sensor casing on my original unit began to crack, and the solar panel appeared to be damaged, resulting in charging issues. So I ordered a replacement sensor. I contacted the seller beforehand, and they confirmed it’s compatible with my old silver receiver. If you look at the pictures, you’ll notice differences between the old and new versions. The new model features a black sensor window (in contrast to the old white one), and it now utilises USB-C instead of micro USB for charging. A feature I liked is that the new sensor can be detached from the mounting plate much more easily, which makes charging more convenient. The old one was screwed tightly and hard to remove. After pairing the new unit, which was easy with the included QR code linking to a YouTube guide, it worked perfectly. The product comes with a 2-year warranty. Mine began to wear down just after the warranty expired, so I deducted one star for durability. But overall, I’m very satisfied. It still offers excellent security. I heard there’s a version in the US that can send alerts to your phone. I’d love to see that available in Australia too! Please refer to the photos for a comparison between the old and new models.
