This kit comes with everything you need to replace the iPad screen. Find a good, detailed video to walk you through it and you're set. It IS thin glass, so take your time and make sure it's in the right position so you don't break it again like I did. Customer service was fantastic at helping me get a replacement quickly and easily-- handled it just a few emails (save the card in the box). I've got the new one properly installed, and everything's in working order, touch screen works just fine. It even comes with a screen protector. I can't speak to the quality of that just yet, but I'm satisfied with the replacement for the value paid.

My daughter got her iPad when she was 2 years old. This is the third time i have replAced her screen and she will be turning 5 in a few months. I love this model of iPad because the LCD is not build into the glass - thus making the fix 15x cheaper. The first fix took me about 45 minutes so i could meticulously do it so i did it right. The second fix about the same This time it took me about 35 minutes total to complete, but had a few complications like dust and i had to un-install the manufacturer home button and re install it into the new screen. If you do this repair as is it wouldn’t take me longer than 25 minutes. BUT i take the extra time to disassemble the home buttons. ONLY the manufacturers button that matches your model number(unless otherwise replaced by Apple) will work with the fingerprint ID. ALL OFF PARTY BUTTONS will DISABLE this fingerprint function in the iPad. So this is an important step that is tedious and requires patience and extra glue. I bought a previous screen that had a like.. pattern to the glass? Maybe it was tempered? It was weird - this screen doesn’t have that and it is crystal clear. Shipping was PRIME - 2 day Definitely highly recommend.

I bought this for my 5th generation ipad. I watched a YouTube video on how to replace and was able to get the job done in about an hour and a half. Most of the time was spent trying to get the old glass off the ipad. Everything that you need comes with this kit. I would recommend this to anyone interested in replacing their screen.

Garbage. Full stop. I received my item and the packaging was OK, the adhesive works fine. However, the screen itself feels plastic y to the touch and flexes significancantly under any pressure. Further, one of the 3 ribbon cables was incorrectly folded from the factory, closing the screen after installation ripped the cable and left a gap between the screen and device housing. The affected touch area isn't big but is still noticeable. Don't waste your money, this product isn't worth it.

Just finished installation. My screen was shattered so removal was tough. Covering screen with tape and a heat gun was helpful but major cleaning was needed afterwards. Used GoofOff, alcohol, and scraping to get the tape area spotless. My kit included 3mm double sided tape but also pre-installed tape that held beautifully to the clean surface. Incl tape not needed. Only problem was unable to use my fingerprint home button (broke mine) but only a minor inconvenience. Saw reviews that said the inside of new screen wasn't protected by plastic and almost thought same but close look at one tiny corner showed it really was there. Ipad is in its case and working perfectly now..looks new. I would recommend this brand. Will update if any change to review

Seemed like good quality but there were no Instructions included. I emailed and they said to search YouTube. However it is hard to refer to a YouTube video while you are taking apart the iPad that you use for that. I spent four meticulous hours, and thought it went well and looked good, but my iPad was dead and is now in the trash. Worth a shot I guess, but ultimately a fail.

This was my first time replacing a screen and it went very well. I am someone who does some home handyman work but disassembling and reassembling electronics is not on my normal work list. The videos and tutorials, and taking your time, really pays off to get it right, easy to install. If you do this try to keep your original home button and wiring, for then your Touch ID will still work. I accidentally cut the wire when taking apart so had to use the new home button. Connecting that is tricky as well, be sure you pay attention to how the old one was connected and use the adhesive-wire to keep it in place. Lots of delicate little connectors so don’t force things and take your time!!!

Product arrived quickly and well packaged. It had all the extra tools I needed to successfully install. The first installation had an issue, and within 15 minutes of emailing the seller, I had a second screen being delivered in 48 hours with tracking. Arrived quickly and again packed well with all tools needed. Works perfectly and very happy.

Davvero ottimo per il prezzo che ha, era imballato benissimo e ha la garanzia di un anno. Lo abbiamo montato oggi e per il momento pare perfetto, in caso aggiornerei la recensione. Pensavamo di usarlo come schermo "di qualche giorno" invece in realtà sembra molto buono. Non posso garantire per chi fa lavori di precisione con l'iPad, perché lo uso per funzioni basilari, però pare funzionare bene anche con il pennino.

Très bon produit, pas trop difficile à remplacer et mon IPad est comme neuf
