Proraso Protective Blue Prebeard Cream - 100 ml

Another great Proraso product. If you're into traditional wet shaving you will undoubtedly know the Proraso name and the quality of the products they make. Can be used as part of a set, shaving cream, post Shave balm etc, or just on its own to condition your skin and soften your beard prior to shaving. Either way a great product.

Excellent protection, apply on wet skin and work into beard before applying shaving lather. Very lightly scented, feels cool and refreshing.

Have used many proraso products in the past And have loved them unfortunately these products have caused my face to be covered in a rash after three uses I would certainly recommend the seller and proraso products but not this particular version So for me it’s been a waste of money

This will protect your skin if you apply it before shaving and between passes, BUT, it really clogs your razor. You have to scrape it off your blade too. That’s with just the faintest smear. A jar will last forever though.

Works well. I've just entered the world of safety razors and after making the bathroom look like a scene out of Halloween, I decided to use something a little more suitable before my shave. After some Google and YouTube, I went for this as well as some other Proraso products. My first shave with the combination of products proved to be a massive improvement. Just one little tiny cut (my fault) but otherwise all good. There is a gentle scratch which just adds to the pampering effect of having a very close shave. I'll buy more

It's not that it smells bad, it's just a somewhat strong, old guy aftershave smell. Reminds me of Brut, actually, and I wouldn't want to walk around all day with that fragrance wafting off off of me. But this is a pre-shave cream, so the smell goes away as soon as you rinse off your face. And the cream makes shaving much more comfortable, even when using a quality shave soap or cream, properly lathered up by a silver-tipped badger brush, as every man ought to. The Proraso pre-shave cream moisturizes the skin and lubricates it to help the razor glide more smoothly, and the black label variety is the thickest and most effective of the varieties I've tried (all of them except the blue). So despite not loving the scent, I do love product because the scent is a very temporary component of it. Absolutely worth the money and the extra ten seconds it takes to apply; I won't shave without it.

Die Proraso Blau Pre-Shave Cream hat meine Rasur deutlich verbessert. Sie lässt sich leicht auftragen und sorgt sofort für ein angenehm geschmeidiges Hautgefühl. Die Barthaare werden spürbar weicher, wodurch der Rasierer viel sanfter gleitet. Besonders positiv ist der Schutz vor Hautirritationen – selbst bei empfindlicher Haut hatte ich keinerlei Rötungen oder Brennen nach der Rasur. Der leichte, frische Duft ist angenehm dezent und nicht aufdringlich. In Kombination mit einer guten Rasiercreme macht dieses Produkt wirklich einen Unterschied. Für mich ein fester Bestandteil der Rasurroutine geworden.

I really like Proraso products and can now add this one to my shaving routine.
