Dualit Lite Jug Kettle White

This is my third Duralit kettle in 20 years, which says it all! I absolutely love them. Stylish, reliable and long-lasting. Wouldn’t buy anything else.

Lovely kettle boils quick really well made would have gave 5 stars but what is it with the lid it is so hard to open to refill

Excellent kettle. Feels solid and the lid mechanism won't break as was the problem with all our previous kettles. This one does not have the spring release and is just a simple manual lift and close but us still hinged. Noise level is fairly normal and it boils quickly. A little more expensive than some kettles but with the lid problem solved and the ease to fill and see the water level, I'm very happy. Looks stylish in the kitchen too.

My previous Dualit kettle was similar to this but last week the whole internal plastic filter kit was suddenly found broken in the bottom of the kettle. No replacements available and it has lasted since 2007 so we looked for a new kettle. Found one in the Amazon resale dept as mint and it surely is. No damage noticed apart from the box so now working very well in our kitchen. It's quick to boil, although we don't overfill it. Easy to use and this lid isn't as tight to flip as the old one was. Happy with the stainless steel and black colour. Nice and quiet and energy efficient. Just what we wanted. Hopefully this one will last at least as long as the old one.

Had one before, this is a quality product, looks good, well made and lasts. Not the cheapest on the market but you get value for money. Well ppriced through Amazon

We purchased this kettle in August 2021 it is now January 2026. It stopped working at just about 4 years 3 months. I do not consider that to in line with my reasonable expectations. It will have been in use on average perhaps five times a week, so not heavy use. From the start the lid was difficult to move, but we could live with that. But it simply stopped turning on this month and that, it seems, is that (yes, I did check and change the fuse). Very disappointing from a company we very much support - we have had Dualit toasters that have been going for years and years with heavy use and just occasional replacement of an element needed. It seems to be not the same with the Lite kettle.

It doesn’t state anywhere that this kettle will have a UK power adapter. I have Dualit products with AU power adapters. This was purchased from Amazon AU website but has a UK adapter. I have to return it.

This kettle looks nice, but its so hard to open the lid, only strong people can do it, also water gets cold very quickly, I wouldn't buy again, very disappointed .
