Very solid and well made

I needed a heavy-duty French Cleat to install the King headboard shown in the attached picture. I purchased and tried about every kind of cleat I could find at Retail (Lowe's, Home-Depot and others). Unfortunately, I found they were far to cheap to use for this purpose even though they said they would support the weight on the package... I didn't trust them. In most cases, the actual cleat part that connects upper and lower pieces of the cleat was just too thin and flimsy and had very little "bite overlap" making your measurements and installation ultra critical. I purchased two or three other brands of cleats from Amazon which were ALL better than those I found at retail, but they were still not as good as this one! This particular cleat from this company IS, by far, THE BEST of all those I tried. It is very rugged, it has the deepest cleat overlap for holding larger, heavier items tight against the wall and made for very easy hanging/mating of the headboard after the cleat install (it sucked the headboard right up to the wall). Don't waste your time or money with any other cleat if you are looking for heavy-duty... this IS THE ONE and it was about the same price as the others too... so you can thank me later. It may be too-robust for very small items (same company makes smaller). Two 30-inchers attached to 4 studs worked great for my headboard. I'm going to buy another set just to have them around for the next item I want to hang a large mirror, picture or another headboard on a wall. Note; they all came with sheet-rock mounting screws/hardware, but when mounting something as large/heavy you should be using lag-bolts at the framing studs IMO... be sure and keep those measurements in mind and get one long enough to hit a few studs, you might have to drill the mounting holes slight larger to accept a lag bolt, but that was no big deal. I'm extremely happy how this project turned out as compared to all the frustration I experienced when I first started out trying inferior hardware! I don't think you will be disappointed with these!!!

Installed easily, holds a very large and heavy framed mirror with ease. Then, a huge plus is that it is super simple to remove and rehang the mirror using this bracket system!! I will be painting the wall it's on soon, so no hassle now thanks to these brackets.

These mounts were used to put up two 30 pound mirrors. They were easy to install and the holes were aligned. The only thing that I had an issue with was the drill bit. The drill bit was too big in width which made the holes in the wall too big as well. I ended up using a different type of anchor. The mirrors are now easy to put on the take off. I have to stain one of the mirrors so these types of mounts make it easier to just lift the mirror off. Comes with three different screws and a small level which helped.

These cleats worked great for mounting my upper cabinets onto drywall in room.

Worked great. Used it in a 1/8” Pocket I made in the back of a piece of live edge wood I used for a towel hooks. Comes with a sds drill bit and all the screws and wall anchors

The cleats are stronger than expected for the thickness. They are much thinner than a standard cleat which results in a closer fit to the wall. Our home is old and the walls are not straight, I was concerned about the bow in the wall preventing the cleats from sitting properly, but we were still able to hang this large 4ft x 3ft antique mirror which probably weights about 60lbs without any issues. I used most of the holes in the cleat to attach it to the wall and to the mirror , more than just the few recommended. I wanted to make sure both the wall cleat and the one attached to the mirror were secure. I plan to use the second set to hang a large piece of art.

I wouldn't even think of hanging anything heavy without using a French Cleat! I was happy with the price and quality of this product. I will definitely buy from them again!

Very strong made with consistent dimensions between units. Comes with lots of hardware for different mounting needs. Used these to install heavy 3/4” interior wall panels, will definitely use this same product again for similar work.

The pair of cleats arrived in perfect condition. Included were 3 different lengths of screws, wall plugs and a drill bit. I just love when a manufacturer really thinks about their customers needs with little inclusions like that.
