What is the difference of the hoodie vs the athletic option ?

I don't think there really is much of a difference other than the material it was made of. I gave it as a gift.

Is this hoodie very pointy when worn over head?

A little but the hood isn't cut to a 90 corner like some hoodies. It'll smooth over your head if it's pulled all the way back or forward.

Im a women im 5'5 130 pounds would a small if good.

Depends on how you describ a good fit, but it would be reasonable. I am a large framed woman, 5’7”, 160 ish lbs, I wear a men’s large in this sweatshirt and it is very roomy on me, how I prefer them to fit...

What does the Maroon color actually look like? Is it really maroon

The lighting must have affected the color, the picture does look more rose. Our stock is a dark maroon color.
