Amazon Grocery, Tomato Sauce, 8 Oz

One of the great things about grocery shopping is finding a product that's cheap enough to stock up on. If it's something you know you're going to use, something that keeps for a long time, and something that tastes good, why not buy five or six of them and save yourself a future trip to the store? That's how I feel about this Amazon Grocery tomato sauce. It's under $1 and this is a quality you'd expect from any grocery store brand, and the quality is every bit as good as the name brands I've bought over the years. The flavor is exactly what I want from a basic tomato sauce. The salt level was fine, the ingredients are simple, and it worked perfectly in the recipes I used it for. Tomato sauce is one of those pantry staples that's surprisingly versatile. Whether you're making pasta, chili, soups, casseroles, or any number of other dishes, it's always nice to have a few cans sitting around when you need them. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about the product itself. It's inexpensive, tastes good, and does exactly what tomato sauce is supposed to do. My only tiny complaint, and this is really more of a heads-up than a criticism, is that these cans do not have a pull-tab lid. You'll need a can opener to get into them. Normally that wouldn't even be worth mentioning, but after going through multiple manual and electric can openers over the past year, it's become one of those random things I pay attention to now. We actually find ourselves seeking out pull-tab cans whenever possible just to avoid the hassle. Again, that's not a knock on the product. I just know there are people out there who would rather buy a pull-tab can than deal with a can opener, and if you're one of those people, it's worth knowing before you order. Otherwise, this is a great pantry item, a great value, and definitely something I'd stock up on again.

Great stuff! I stopped buying jarred spaghetti sauce and started making my own. No ingredients I can't pronounce, it fresh, tastes great & the right amount of thickness. Add some tomato paste to this with your fav spices and you've got a great tasting sauce. Great price on Amazon!

Super cheap deal I love the quality it tastes amazing like I just got it from the store except I got it for so much cheaper. The aroma of the tomato sauce is just perfect.

Great for doing pizza sauce. Better than the higher price brand at the grocery that says Italian. This has some Italian flavoring added very light. The only problem is one can most of had other crushed cans on it as the label was torn and it was spattered with something that is red. I may choose to throw one of the cans I received out and it will be $0.59 loss. That doesn't sound like much but when I add up all the losses I've had in the last 6 months from poor packaging and poor managing their Warehouse stock and then sending it on its way to unwittingly unknown to the customer wow I'm just sick of it but this canned tomato sauce is excellent. I'm just so tired of Amazon's poor quality that is getting worse with every delivery. This was delivered to a mail station three blocks from my home not even to my house. They turned it over to the US postal system no wonder it takes forever. I just signed up for prime we'll see if it gets any better my guess it doesn't matter. I have been ordering from Amazon for years and years and years and years and never had this much trouble until this past year and I'll say this past maybe 6 months it's gotten really bad. They are apparently working their people to death or they're hiring people that are untrained and uneducated in the ways of working in warehouses and packing. I lay that at the foot of those supervisors who do not train their people well or give them the encouragement they need to do a better job. Or they are hiring people that never would care about their job. This comes to homes all over the world to feed our families. Amazon has to do something about the poor quality of packing and delivery. I can say that I hardly ever used to complain and this time I'm not even calling in because I've decided I have to start shopping at Walmart which I don't want to do but isn't it all part of the same pot of money are they the very same now. We don't have a Costco and we don't have a Sam's club in our town or an Aldi's and I don't like shopping at Walmart I just don't like the bigness of it but Amazon has just lost its marketing value. Good deliveries that are not damaged. I mean my coffee bag was flattened what does that do to the integrity of it bag I could smell coffee when I picked up the box before I opened it. I am so discouraged because I have loved this convenience I even started prime up again in hopes that maybe they would like me more if I paid them the 15 bucks a month for delivery but I think that will not make a difference. Again the tomato sauce is great but I'll probably throw one can out because it has something spilled all over it and there's nothing that is open that was in the box so it had to have been somewhere in the warehouse and they just threw it in my box like that. Boohoo

Perfect size for one bag of pre made raviolis/tortellinis. Good flavor and smell, ingredients obviously come from a good source. Very happy as I was skeptical of amazon branded items, I wish I could see exactly where this comes from, but alas, it does taste great while having a dirt cheap price

This is a must have for many dishes. I find I am using them several times a week. It is just the right size and consistency. You can't beat the price. This is a good product to have on hand .
