This is an amazing head lamp! It has a very long battery life, it is easy to adjust for size and it even has a nice function where you can wave it on and off without touching a button. Most importantly it is more than bright enough for doing commercial jobs.

The thing to think about when buying a headlamp is which features are most important to you. In my case, I needed a headlight for early morning walkingI walk around 8 km in the early mornings from 5:00 am, so the headlight I was looking for should be lightweight, durable with a rechargeable battery with good battery life, and sufficient brightness to show my path in the early morning darkness. I also need it to be water-resistant with a motion sensor feature.In the 650 lumens, Everbeam H6 Pro Headlamp, I found most of the features I am looking for at the right price. This headlight is compact and lightweight, weighing around 72 grams. It offers good lighting with good battery life and the light travels around 125 metres. The lithium-ion 1200mAh rechargeable battery has a life of just over 2 hours so I have to charge it every day.With a wave of my hand in front, the headlamp turns the light on or off when needed.I am impressed with the Everbeam H6 Pro Headlamp. It offers all the features that I need in a headlight

Main light is true white, very bright on high setting, low is bright enough for most use. Good light pattern with bright central spot + wide area of lower light. I like that you don't have to go through all the settings turning it on and off - press and hold the right button to switch between white and red light modes, while the left button controls the motion sensor setting. Switches operate easily, with a positive click. Motion sensor feature works well, though it turns on only the high white light - nothing I need, anyway. Nice little carrying case. On the down side, it was supposed to be 80-90% charged when it arrived, but it wouldn't light - though it charged up in 3 hrs, which is the specified time for a full charge, and worked fine. Only other negative is the red light is quite dim, which is what gives you the 30 hr run time - it's only 2.5 hrs on white/high, 10 hrs on white/low. Anyway, for a reasonably-price headlamp it works very well, and I'm happy with it.

Just as I said in the title. It's a good piece of kit. I took off 1 star because I don't know how the battery life will be on the high setting, and the plastic is a little cheap - but this isn't a very expensive head light. On the other hand, it fits well and the strap is comfortable and very flexible. The little case is a plus, I like that and would give it 4.5 stars if I could.UPDATE: I upgraded it to five stars. When fully charged through the USB port it lasts at least 1.5 hours on "high beam." I turned mine off after that and recharged it, it would have gone longer but I didn't want to totally drain the battery. I like how it shows "red" while charging and "green" when it is recharged with little tiny LEDs near the charging port. It is also very water resistant - I fully immersed the unit for 20 seconds in a coffee cup with tap water with the light on and nothing bad happened. So rain and sweat won't hurt it. I wouldn't go diving with it but for all other purposes it's great.

Super bright. You definitely shouldn’t need anything brighter than this. The battery life is really good. I’ve used it for like two 45 minute runs and Some other stuff and haven’t needed to charge it again yet. The motion detection feature works really well and is handy if you have your hands full. I don’t think it works on the low brightness settings though. And when you use it on the high brightness it actually kinda hurt your eyes a little bit when When the light reflects off your hand. I consider getting a black diamond or another high end brand, but I’m glad I didn’t because this is just as good. I feel like this is a product that you can get everything you need for a pretty low cost but something that’s so useful that people will pay a lot of money for even though they might as well just get aAdd less expensive product. This headlamp throws an impressive beam when on high setting. Has lower light setting and red light as well. Charge seems to last quite a while but I have never run it down. Use it on 3-4 day backpacking trips. Used it for trip to the outhouse and general occasional lighting in evening and battery charge stayed good. Good quality

I needed a supplemental light to go with my less-than-great bike headlight that only puts out a small pool of light. (I have an older generation Rad bike with integrated lights, and switching it out is above my skill level). It also needed to fit over my helmet. This light is just right. Fits around my helmet, easy to use one-handedly while riding, it’s not that expensive, not too wild or gaudy looking, has a tilt option, and the multifunction is nice. Solid light when it’s dark, and the flasher for dreary rainy afternoons. Rechargeable is nice too. I keep the cord in my pannier so I can charge it at work if needed. The sensor works too and that’s handy. I’d buy this again.

Perfect for the tool boxes and mobile repairs. Charging cable in the carry pouch keeps everything where it's needed. The light beam is bright and consistent.

Bisher war ich ein Fan von der ebenfalls preisgünstigen, ausgereiften Petzl Tikka, aber das Bessere ist nun mal der Feind des Guten. Der wichtigste Vorteil der Everbeam gegenüber der Petzl ist der eingebaute Akku anstelle von Batterien. Man spart Geld, Umstände, zusätzliches Gepäck (das Handyladekabel hat man auf Reisen ja ohnehin dabei) und außerdem ist die Everbeam dadurch leichter.Bisher benutze ich die Lampe lediglich als rotes Rücklicht bei der morgendlichen Radfahrt zur Arbeit. Nun sind schon recht viele Wochen vergangen, ohne dass eine neue Aufladung nötig war.Eine gute Idee ist die stabile, hochwertige Aufbewahrungsbox die sinnvoller Weise eine kräftig gelbe Farbe hat.Im höheren der beiden Weißlicht-Modi ist die Lichtstärke wirklich beachtlich. Der schwächere, energiesparende zweite Modi dürfte bei der nächtliche Anwendung zumeist ausreichen. Diese Lichtstärke reicht sicherlich auch für Läufer und Jogger. Ob das Kopfband für diese Anwendung fest genug ist, kann ich als extremer Sportmuffel lediglich abschätzen - ich vermute ja.Für 19,99 Euro ist dieses Gerät absolut empfehlenswert. Ich empfehle der Firma Petzl dringend, sich ebenfalls mit den modernen sehr leichten Akkus zu beschäftigen.Um eine gute andere Rezension hier auf Amazon aufzugreifen: Wozu gibt es diese Blink-Modi? Ich dachte bisher, sie seien wenigstens energiesparend, aber in der Anleitung dieses Gerätes sah ich überraschend, dass Blinkmodi keinen niedrigeren sondern höheren Energieverbrauch haben als der Dauerbetrieb.Auf diesen Bewegung-Sensor könnte ich ebenfalls verzichten. Ob man nun mit der Hand vor der Lampe einen Wink macht oder den Knopf drückt, ergibt wohl gerade einmal einen Zeitunterschied von einer halben bis viertel Sekunde.

J'avais besoin d'une nouvelle frontale afin de rouler le matin en hiver pour aller au travail...J'en possédait une autre achetée 15€ mais d'une luminosité insuffisante.Pour plus de luminosité, je me retrouvais en face de très (trop) grosses (donc lourdes)frontales, j'ai donc opté pour cette Everbeam qui annonce 650 Lumens et j'en suis pleinement satisfait !!La portée, le faisceau (assez large avec une zone centrale plus forte) et la luminositésont parfaits pour mon trajet d'environ 10 km en pleine nuit !De plus, la sangle confortable et le faible poids font que je ne la sens presque pas ^^En bonus non négligeable, le rechargement via mcro USB évite d'avoir à recharger un lot de piles !En un mot : parfaite !Livraison soignée et plus tôt qu'annoncée : je recommande !!

Once a gamekeeper, an angler and astrophotographer, a good head torch has proved an invaluable piece of equipment.My first head lamp was a small Petzl which was £35 and had a dire maximum output of 30 lumens! It also used 3 AAA batteries which was a nuisance as you were always left with an odd one.Though reliable and having excellent battery life I dropped it once on a wooden floor and it literally flew to pieces.Looking for something much brighter and more robust I bought a Fenix at around £50.This had excellent light output rated very conservatively at 375 lumens, ran on 4 AA batteries and boasted all aluminium construction.Now Fenix have become an established name their prices are more commensurate with their impressive build quality.After years of use the very stiff cable of the Fenix broke and I was looking to replace it.What I wanted was a durable, comfortable, lightweight lamp with a usefully bright output and a good battery life under realistic use.The Everbeam H6 Pro meets these criteria easily at a very keen price.It also offers some very useful features missing on many head lamps.Firstly the addition of two small red LEDs.I can't understand the marketing saying "they do not disturb wildlife" as they are far too dim to spot the wildlife anyway.However as anyone who has turned up to a star party with a white light only to be told they are banned will attest, a dim red light is absolutely essential for reading star charts or adjusting a telescope.It also has a red strobe mode which strangely gives a shorter runtime at 20 hours than the continuous mode.Secondly unlike most budget offerings this light uses a 1200 mAh Lithium-ion battery which can be charged via USB in 3 hours.I wish that like some Nitecore lights it was possible to power the light via a USB power bank with the possibility of huge battery life.The details on this lights performance are scant even on the Everbeam website.Though it boasts a rating of 650 lumens a look at the small print reveals this is an internal test not an ANSI rating.There is no rating at all for what they call low setting which I find dubious.I would estimate this is around 100 lumens and have no reason to doubt the claimed 10 hour duration.There is also a powerful white strobe mode.I find it telling that the almost identical Nitecore NU32 is rated at 550 lumens and using a larger capacity 1800 mAh battery runs for one hour while the H6 pro claims 100 extra lumens for 90 extra minutes from its smaller 1200 mAh battery.Something just doesn't add up.To be fair the NU32 is close to 3x the price!Unlike more high end brands there is no indication of the breadth of the beam which is enormously important to different use cases.I found this light typical of most small reflector types in having abroad beam with a slight hot spot and a useful throw of only 80-100 metres at best, short of the 126 metres claimed.It is also woth noting that this light has a waterproof rating of IPX 4, this means it is "splashproof from any angle".The manufacturers video irresponsibly shows the light immersed in water, only advisable with a rating of at least IPX 7 "immersible up to 30 minutes".Closely watching the video is seems the demonstrator is holding his finger firmly over the vulnerable charging socket to make this stunt possible.If waterproofing is really vital look for an IPX 8 rating "waterproof to 2 metres continuously"This brings us to the generous 2 year guarantee which might sway some buyers.Another look in the small print reveals this only applies to the admittedly robust ABS body of the unit, all the internal parts including battery and LED are only covered for 3 months!A feature which will grab many peoples attention is the ability to switch the light on and off with a wave of the hand.This will be genuinely useful to stop dazzling people you meet while dog walking , fishing etc. but only works on full power.Finally this light comes with a quite sturdy zip up case very similar to one sold as a $7 option with Fenix lights.This makes an ideal place to store the supplied USB to micro USB charging cable.Though I may seem negative about this little light, you can tell I am a bit of a torch geek and it represents outstanding value and will be all most people will ever need.
