They're OEM Dremel, so they fit and they work. I use a lot of small drills in model railroading and having the ability to move up and down in drill size is the reason I bought these. They are from Dremel, the manufacturer of the rotary tool itself, so they have Dremel quality and the correct fitment for my rotary tools.

Works Great with a 8240 Dremel Tool
This is exactly what I needed to use some carbide bits I purchased for my Dremel 8240 tool. The shank in the standard head was not large enough to accomodate the carbide bit. This shank worked perfectly. I used the Dremel tool case to store the extra shanks.

Found an original Dremel product...fits perfectly...though it took some time to deliver the product overall happy with the results.

These items work well, the drill itself, less so.
My tale is that I was given a Dremel for my birthday; it arrived with the nut that would not tighten onto the chuck. Eventually I found the one and only Collet it came with was jammed backwards into the chuck and both were rendered useless thereby. I was not a happy bunny. These items corrected that problem completely. Will I be buying Dremel products again? Probably not. The charge a premium for their products; their customer care is non existent. This gets 5 stars for two reasons. 1) these items worked well if the drill didn't 2) I can't be bothered going through all the hassle Amazon inflict on you if you send back anything but a 5 star review.
