We have been enjoying using this simple pressure cooker. The dipped lid saves on spillage, which we are glad about, since it’s super annoying to clean up once spills have cooled down and baked onto everything with our other pressure cooker. We love the anodized finish and the sturdy, well-made quality of the pot. We use this for stews, soups, porridge and curries. We have a small kitchen, so didn’t want a large one. This one is perfect for cooking about 4-6 servings of food.

I have used Prestige pressure cooker throughout my life. This is the new generation of the product.

Using since 1 year it's really good. Quality of the pressure cooker is really good. Value for money. It's not that heavy like stainless steel but it's pretty much easy to handle

Please DO NOT order this product from Amazon ever or this type of product where it is from third party seller. There is no support from Amazon to solve for any refunds or returns. Customer service simply does not agree to do anything. Third party seller is not ready to take back the product. Product has chemical residues inside. Ideally any agencies or FTC/Consumer protection agencies should review all such third party products on amazon. This has happened to me and I believe with many of us and Amazon does not care as they are not the manufacturers. yes it is written in T&Cs but why they should be even allowed to sell such product where they are taking profit margin either way - customer like the product or not. In any situation, it works in amazon's favour. Like a big platform rent company and dont care about the actual impacts on either side of the parties involved in transactions!! I would have given 0 stars if it is possible.

Really good small cooker

TTK seriously has to look into its quality control! Ordered and received the cooker in USA (as we didn't carry one from India). My wife happily tried to cook the black eyed peas in it and realised it was not giving whistle. I thought she didn't put the enough water or probably it would take more time on the US cooktop. Ultimately we shut it only to open and realise that the food was burnt at the bottom. It was followed by a big fight between me and wife blaming each other. I then decided to check and filled the cooker with water again and put on the cook top and soon realised that the centre steam vent and nut was not tightened properly (see the third pic) from the company and all the steam was leaking out from there so pressure was not building up. I then tighten it and tested again; it worked properly this time. TTK Prestige, you really disappointed me. I felt like kicking @$$ of your quality control team after finding the issue. I took the effort and repaired it myself but not everyone will do that. I can only wish you best of luck if you continue maintaining this level of quality.

Was happy got new cooker but it does not cook fast as other viewer Said my old was small cooker use to cook faster then this one

Has the upper cover /lid not locking properly. It is buckling up and not shutting tight. Inside of the upper lid has some white gooey stuff smeared on patches. My observation on the appearance of the package having been repacked was not permitted to be published by the Amazon, hence I am not mentioning that as an adverse comment here. I totally understand the Amazon policy of disallowing Reviews that may reflect on the product or the seller.

Good Item

It does live up to the Prestige standard but was a bit disappointed with the packaging part of it. There was powder all over the handle and the ring, even after washing still has a powdered coat which makes it look old. Have no complaints performance wise. The whistle sound is also not as harsh as other cookers...
