I replaced a couple of windscreens on my SM 58's that had rust on them from storage. They fit perfectly. And they look like brand new.

Instantly change your SM58 into a BETA 58-A clone !!!
Sure, you could pay $150 for a real BETA 58-A, and they are great mics. OR... you can turn ANY 58-type microphone into a BETA 58-A clone for only $5 with these grill heads - thanks to the little bright blue rubber rings !!! But on a serious note... The threads of these grill heads are not finished very well, but they do screw onto a real SM58 mic - just be careful. The internal foam doesn't fit inside very well, but who cares - it doesn't hurt the sound. The metal grill mesh is slightly more coarse than an original SM58, and the finish is slightly more shiny. No one will EVER know or care about any of that, just as they wont have any idea you're not holding a real BETA 58-A - LOL !!! I really did buy these just for the little blue rings (which I couldn't find anywhere else) and now I have my original SM-58 grills as backups. Not OEM quality, but definitely 4-star value for a $5 purchase.

Cheaply Made
The first time I screwed this item onto the mic, it came apart at the blue seam in the middle. I was not using too much force so it wasn't user error. I've been gigging for 40 years so I can and have replaced microphone grills with ease. Once apart, the item is somewhat dangerous because of the sharp wires. I was at a gig so I was very lucky not to screw up my hands with this poorly made product.

Perfect replacement for old SM58 mic screens!!!
Perfect replacement for factory SM58 and Beta58 mics. I usually have a couple extra for when I need to clean mic screens and I can swap a new one on. I also like to paint them various colors for identification when everyone is using the same looking mic.. you're not accidentally walking off with my gold or teal or orange mic! But, anyways.. yeah these are great replacement mic screens! Get you some! These will NOT fit all SM58 "style" mics!! I do know that they fit SM58 and Beta58A microphones!
