Perfect fit
Perfect fit and worth the money. I had a bigger one but it had cracked - so When I replaced the washer, I replaced the drain pan.

Washer drain pan
I installed wood floors recently and I already know that my washer leaks, but i wanted to run the wood in the utility room as well. So I purchased this pan to go under the washer and it is working great. It is protecting those floors from that leaky washer. It is sturdy, does not harm the floor, the color works well under the washer. It is thick and the right size for my washer.

Almost Perfect
First - note that the dimensions of this pan are top edge to top edge and the sides of the drain pain slope slightly "up and away" from the bottom to the top. Our laundry center measures about 27" side-to-side and 28-1/2" front-to-back and it fit with about 1" on the sides and 1/2" front and back. You can also raise - or shim - the legs on your laundry center to allow the bottom of the machine to clear the top of the drain pain, gaining a little more room if needed (this might make your machine less stable and more prone to vibration on the spin cycle - but most things in life involve tradeoffs). Although raising your machine could place the outside edges of the laundry center enclosure (case) slightly outside the edges of the drain pain, most leaks are going to be inside the laundry center case itself. While the plastic drain pan is flexible plastic, construction seems solid enough for the purpose. I was able to tilt up the back side of the laundry center, slide the drain pan under, then slide the machine back into the pan (helps to brace the back of the pan against something solid so you can push against it). However, it sure would be a lot easier for two (or three) people to put this in place. Our laundry center sits behind a 30" door so I had to cut away a small portion of the door stop to allow the pan to slide in and out. I have moved this set-up several times with only one problem - the drain line. This drain pan comes with a gasketed 1-1/2" PVC fitting (you have to cut a hole in the bottom of the pan to install the drain) which allows the pan to be connected to a drain - the pan itself will only hold about 7 gallons of water and a typical laundry center holds at least twice that much. If all the water leaks out of your laundry center, no drain pan will be able to hold the total amount without an outside drain. Fortunately, we have a 2-1/2" drain centered in the back of our laundry closet. Unfortunately, we had to take off the cover plate for the main drain to allow the pan drain to fit inside. This means we have to tilt the machine forward until the drain line clears the main drain before we can slide the machine out of the closet for service. For most people, this will be a rare occurrence, so shouldn't be too troublesome. I would have preferred that the 1-1/2" pan drain exit flush with the bottom of the drain pan rather than extending below the bottom - I may solve this problem with a hacksaw if and when I have to move the machine again. Hopefully, that won't happen unless the machine overflows again (twice in 13 years - once too often!). Bottom line - I would have awarded 5 stars if the inside dimensions had been shown (or were easy to find on-line) and the pan drain had an option to exit flush with the bottom of the pan.

perfect solution for litter-box problem
A quality made perfect solution to a long standing problem!! My two aging cats are 16 years old and like some, aren't as careful when it comes to using their litterbox as intended: they'd miss their box and 'do it' over the edge instead. I'd put lots of pee pads around, but still it looked sloppy and they weren't always as leak-proof as advertised. After I refinished my floors, I knew I'd have to come up with something better. This pan was the perfect solution! I still line the pan with pee pads but it is so easy to keep clean and no more leaks onto the floor! And the size is perfect - plenty of perimeter around the box to catch any messes they may do. The cats must like it too because since I started using this pan, they have not missed once over the edge of their box. Not sure why, but it works for me! It's also a very sturdy pan - so if you are going to use it as it was intended, it should be great!

Catches what it needs
This is a useful item to make sure that no water collects heavily on your finished floor first. Itโs a solid piece to put a washer on but flexible enough to get into the location you need. It does have a spigot for connecting a hose to but obviously that means you need a location to drain to or a pump. Overall it can collect about an 1โ of water safely. Gotta put a sensor on it to detect it. Make sure you add a couple inches around your measurements. The sides of this slope up and youll need a bit extra space.

Worth the money
I needed to get a tray like this for my washing machine because it leaked a little bit and it does hold up it is very big and give your washing machine plenty of room and it has a draining system that you can install or if you're worried about your washing machine leaking it will at least buy you some time to get back to the washing machine and turn it off if you need to. And the value of buying it was not expensive because I did not know that washing machine trays could get over $100 and I know for some apartments they require you to put your washing machine on a tray like this to help prevent leakage or damage

Can serve other purposes as well.
I'm not using this pan for a leaky washing machine. I have a floor model air conditioner that I use in a bedroom on the second floor of my home. The unit started leaking a few weeks ago on the carpeted floor where it sat. I had to use a steam cleaner to get up all of the water. I went looking on Amazon for something that would be able to collect and hold the water right as it leaked out of the unit. I never knew pans were made for leaky washing machines, but the design of this pan fit my needs for correcting the leaks in my A/C unit. This pan was not only less expensive than other brands, it also had no prefabricated hole cut into it, which would have defeated my plans for the pans use. I can't be more happy with this purchase, there's no more getting up in the middle of the night to see if the A/C unit is leaking, and there's no more using mops, towels, and the steam cleaner to collect the spillage. It provides peace of mind to a problem that can create real damage to a house, especially for ANYTHING that's leaking water on the second floor of a home.

Perfect for Making your own DIY Doggie Pee Pad
My use case for this Drain Pan is a little different ... I used it to make a DIY Pee Pad for my dog. Originally I wanted to by a Porch Potty but when I found out is was $259 (USD) I decided to build my own. This drain pan provides ample room for your dog to do his or her business. I bought some good quality artificial turn from my local hardware store and after cutting it to size laid it into the drain pan. The end result was perfect ... a large doggie pee pad for under $75 dollars. My home made pee pad worked perfectly for training our new puppy. We keep the DIY doggie pee pad on our deck and our dog loves to use it ... it really works. Every week we drain it and rinse it off. After 6 months I replaced the carpet but the pan is still intact with no cracks or leaks. It's been outside in the sun, with temperatures as high as 35ยบC and as low as -30ยบC. On the durability scale I give this pan a 10 Overall I've very please with this drain pan. It's well made, durable and works great as a DIY Doggie pee pad.

Measure the space.
Overall, this is a great drain pan. I bought it for the stackable washer/dryer set, converting a small closet into the laundry. I measured well, and was pretty sure that it is a perfect fit. When I received it, I could not fit it into the closet, I needed 1 more inch of space. The measurements of this drain pan are as measured on the bottom, but the top rim is wider, so make sure you have 2 inches more of space than the measurements of this pan. I read it in other reviews, but still risked it, having only 1 inch more. I had to cut out baseboard in the back of the closed to fit it, but was lucky that it just fit. No problems of having 2 machines on top of it. Can't comment on durability, as just started using it. One thing I find tricky is to level the machine after it's in the pan, but it depends on the size of the machine. It does have a drain that you can connect to the drain in the floor(I don't have one), but I think because of HE washer, if there was a leak, the pan will contain all the water.

I am happy with this durable, well made product.
I am happy with this durable, well made product. The pan's dimensions were accurately described in the listing, and my machine fits within it perfectly. There is an optional drain plug you can install in the back, but I cannot comment on the procedure required to set it up as I didn't use it (no drain in my laundry room). The plastic/rubber that this pan is made out of is fairly soft, which is a good thing. It has just enough flex that I don't think my washer legs will ever puncture it. Surprisingly, this pan hold significant amount of water. It may contain and entire laundry load worth. If, however, a hose or or other endless water supply leaks, this will obviously not provide a lot of protection. For the ultimate peace of mind, install a smart flood sensor in the bottom of the pan and never worry about leaks again!

Good peace of mind and decent price
I really liked that this tray had stamped spots where you could install a drain, but they weren't necessary. It came in a box with a valve that could be installed if you had a floor drain nearby. I rent and bought this to sit under my washer, so there won't be any water damage to the flooring. I put a thin layer or rubber toolbox liner underneath it, then the machine on top with its rubber, anti-vibration pucks under the feet. I worried that the size would be too big, but it fits great and gives a few inches on each side of the machine in case there was a leak. And it doesn't look bad at all. Was really nice and sturdy, and doesn't flex much at all.
