RETTACY A5 Spiral Notebook 3 Pack, Dotted Journal, Notepad, 480 Pages

I bought these because apart from the dot grid they are totally blank, so you can organise them into any kind of diary, journal or common place book. I am using a glass dip pen and calligraphy ink and not getting any bleed through. The paper is not as smooth as the Oxford notebooks but still comfortable to write on . The clear plastic cover protects the pages and gives you the opportunity to decorate the first page to make your own cover. The colour of the paper is a definite cream, which is perfect for my use, but could be a problem for someone making notes that include colour swatching. I intend to use one to make a journal of my sashiko stitching project and the dot grid is a real bonus as it is perfect for charting hitomezashi patterns. Overall very useful and good value for money.

These are great. I know they’re only notebooks, but having the squared grid helps with lists, sketching out project plans, etc. whilst the spiral binding lets the pad lie flat and eases removal of pages.

Love this! Got it in a pack of 3 - the journal has good thick pages enough for it to stop any bleed through & the dots are evenly spaced out - overall good quality. The front frost transparent cover allows you to customise the first page which is a great feature I haven’t found in other journals. The pages are cream & not white but this doesn’t bother me at all but putting this out there for those who may be wondering. I have shown this in the video. Overall the size is good A5 & this does the job for me!

The brand I normally use for my bullet journal was no longer selling so I decided to give these a try. I was pleasantly surprised with how thick the paper was as it allows me to use paint (even water colours) and fine liners with little bleed through. You will still see some bleed through with fine liners but for the price you can't complain. Each journal comes with enough pages to last me a year, even when doing two page weeklies. As these come in a pack of three, you can always transfer extra sheets to the next journal. There are only two complaints I have. The first is that there is no card front cover, it goes straight to the dot pages after the plastic cover so if you want to have a sturdy front cover you will have to make one yourself. My other complaint is that pages often get trapped in the ring binder so the journal can have trouble closing or your pages will get squished. I'm unsure if this is because of the square holes or if the holes are too small/too many pages. However while it's annoying, it's a relatively minor complaint. Overall this is good value for your money, especially if you want to get started with bullet journaling for the first time or you aren't bothered about getting expensive journals.

The dots are nice and faint, but not faint enough that you can’t see them. The paper is nice, it holds up to my Staedtler 1mm pigment liner perfectly which was really my only need. Well worth the money, will probably buy again. Great price too. I’m a bit of a notebook snob since I hate any kind of bleed through and tend to use pens that aren’t kind to paper, so if you’re looking for a bullet journal notebook, these are a great candidate. Won’t hold up to alcohol markers most likely, but that’s expected from regular paper.

The clear plastic cover is excellent to protect the papers. I’m constantly tossing it in my desk drawer and the cover keeps the papers from getting torn or wrinkled. The graph is visible and consistent (no faint lines). The paper quality is solid too - not too thin - no bleed through when using ink pens.

Great notepads

Its really tricky to find a grid notebook in Australia, especially spiral bound one. This one has a very nice paper, off white colour and nice clear covers front and back. All that I could ask for!

Very good value, considering three of these cost the same as one normally. Paper quality is good, does not bleed or feather. Using these for compiling recipes and will use one as a travel journal.
