That they were sturdy and handled weight and size of my pie plates.
These Large Plate Stands were the exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to display my 10" Watkins Pie Plates without attaching the metal spring hangers. These STANDS worked GREAT. The Plates are very secured in these stands!!

Sturdy!
This is a good, sturdy plate stand. I've got a 'tree of life' Lalique plate that almost broke when the plate stand I had it in collapsed (Lalique is heavy). I bought this one to replace it and it's really stable and sturdy. I'm not worried anymore that my very valuable plate is going to get broken.

A good way to display a pretty tray
I'm glad I found this plate stand. It's the perfect stand -- in color, weight, and size -- for a pretty decorative tray my mother-in-law gave to me.

Plate Holder for Craft work
This works perfectly for the craft piece my wife created. We needed a holder to take a fair amount of weight and to be able to display it decently. This plate stand was just the thing. It is metal and so it is strong and it has a good distance between the front of the holder and the back making it stable. A solid value.
