I've had this for a while and its been holding every thing good still. I tried taking it off and it tore the paint off the wall and the wood cover off a table. These things stick REALLY well and the velcro is strong. Mine is currently holding a 5ftL 3ftw mirror on my door and so far its handled being opened fast and shut fast. Tried taking it off and velcro won't even give. Strong and long, they are good and worth it

I've only had this product for a little while, but I immediately put it to use as a means of adding additional storage, and easy access to items I use for filming. The rolls are both incredibly wide, and very strong. I haven't even needed to use them at their full width, instead cutting them down to smaller pieces for smaller gear. It also helps unstick them, because even at a portion of their full size the Velcro has a strong grip. I did mess up placement at first with some of the pieces I stuck on a case of mine, and I was relieved to learn that pulling the adhesive side off of the case didn't leave any sticky residue. It wasn't on there for very long, but I had made sure it was fully stuck a moment before, and it's nice to know your equipment won't get messy if you need to move a piece around. Though I can't be sure if it was left longer, or in heat. All in all, I'm really glad I got this product so far. (I gave the "easy to remove" a 4 star because while it did come off my case without residue, I can't be totally certain in the long run, and the adhesive is strong enough to remove paint or plaster if stuck to a wall.)

I’ve ordered this product 2 times because my first experience was great, almost blown away by how handy, useful, and strong these strips ended up being. I used em for anything and everything! The adhesion was fantastic and the velcro was solid. Cord organizer strips? Puhlease, that’s an insult. I used these to hang “heavy-ish” picture frames, and bathroom door mirrors. That first roll lasted me a solid 3 years, maybe more, but all good things must come to an end. Sad to say, I reordered and it seems like the manufacturer changed some materials. The sticky adhesion, the “non-velcro”, isn’t quite as strong as it used to be. It used to alarm you a little if it happened to stick to your skin. No longer. Bummer. Further and bigger bummer, the velcro sides don’t hold as well either. I did order a used - “Like New” item. While I cannot imagine the fact that it was used had any effect on the weaker velcro, perhaps the package I got suffered from heat at various times before it got to me and that may have lessened the sticky adhesion. I have no idea. Maybe it’s me making more of a thing than it really was, maybe it’s just velcro strips. But I don’t think so. If this is your first time, order away. It’s still a good product. If it’s your 2nd, 3rd, etc. you may be disappointed. A repeat user should buy NEW to see if they can corroborate my experience.

FINAL UPDATE: This held beautifully and lasted until our sweet old school buildings were finally retired and we moved into a new school building in summer of 2024. The building was sold and I'm told that the boards are still holding and going strong in 2025. UPDATE after nearly 2 years: Still going strong! The board are hanging on strong, no problems whatsoever. And since I'm such a grinch about wiping down the tile board, the white part is still going strong as well! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used this to hang white tile board [from a popular large orange home improvement store] to use as whiteboard OVER my existing century-old blackboards in my classroom. The pieces it is holding are around 40 x 70 inches with one side stuck to the back of the board, the other to the ancient blackboard (we are not even talking GREEN chalkboard, lol, this stuff is really old). It adhered tightly and the board seem to be very securely attached when the hook & loop tape was pressed together. I'll update as the school year progresses if anyone is interested. There may be other teachers out there considering a similar project. There was, occasionally, a tiny wrinkle in the tape as it came off the roll. But these smoothed out on application and were not an issue at all.

My work-from-home desk is more like a table, and real estate on the top of the desk is pretty tight, with two 21" monitors, speakers, and the like. But lots of things need to be plugged in - the computer, the two monitors, the cable modem, the wifi router, the speakers, the USB charger, the sound machine, the Google Mini - and on and on. To make it work, I mounted a long, 8-outlet power strip on the underneath of the table top at the back. And that worked for a few months, but lately there's been even more items to plug in. So I ordered a couple of smaller 6-outlet Amazon Basics power strips, and this long roll of self-adhesive hook-and-loop. (It's actually two rolls - one big roll of hook, and a matching big roll of loop.) This works great - the adhesive sticks well to the power strip and to the underside of the table top, and is strong enough to support the non-brick plug-in items. This frees up the main, screwed-in power strip to handle the bricks, so I now have everything neatly organized back there. (I've used self-adhesive hook-and-loop for years for mounting things on my motorcycle, too!)

Terrific industrial strength adhesive back. Sticks to my 3d printed parts with no prep. Be sure you place it right the first time as you may not get it off-Its that good. The grab between hook and loop sides is wonderful and strong as you could ever hope for. Its got a rubber-ish like back that seems a bit thicker than the 'V' brand making it better/stronger. I used the adhesive hook side to stick to the back of a sew-on loop face, effectively making my own "one wrap" of about 12 inches long and it holds like it came from the factory that way. And if you didn't realize, its 5m for the same price as a 3m box of that other brand. A and B sides are rolled individually not mated which I prefer. The rolls are adhesive side out so they aren't constantly grabbing each other as you try to work with them. Sometime unknown brands are a risk, but these guys hit it out of the park.

The problem with all these Velcro-type hook-and-loop products is there has to be a perfect balance between the strength of the hold that the hook-and-loop material provides and the hold of the adhesive backing. The hook-and-loop grip can't be stronger than the adhesive that is holding each side of the sides of the tape to the surfaces you want to join. If they hold with too much strength, then when you try to pull them apart (which is the whole idea behind this H&L technology -- that you can attach and detach and then repeat many times -- but if the H&L hold is stronger than the adheasive hold which attaches it to the object, then it is useless. I have gotten a number of H&L, even brand Velcro where the adhesive wasn't strong enough and trying to pull the H&L piece apart would pull the tape away instead of separating the H&L. This product does it perfectly -- the adhesive is mighty strong and it will not let go. Worked perfectly for our purposes.
