Sanding Sticks Matchsticks Fine Detailing Sanding Grits 120/180 and 400/800-10 Pack

I refurbish statues for people and Churches. These work GREAT for small areas! I highly recommend them

I had a specific task for these Sanding Sticks: I need to slightly enlarge some holes in some Balsa Wood Fuselage Formers that were inside the back of a Model Airplane. I was able to cut the center plastic stick of the Sanding Sticks in half and stick that inside a flexible plastic tube so I cold extend the sanding surface inside each of the small holes that were already made in the Fuselage Formers. It worked perfectly. See photo.

The only reason I'm not giving them a 5 star is because they did not maintain ther grit long. It didn't fall off, it just wore out quicker than I would have expected it. And what I was using it on was not very hard. Other than that they did a great job and got exactly what I wanted.

Inconsistent grit for some of the sticks, and wears out quickly. Works well for the good ones, but don't expect every sanding stick to be good quality.

Work great for clay I wish they were color coded for grit

I bought them for a specific project I was working on, but then didn’t need to use them. However, just from looks and feel, I think they will do nicely on another project at a later date. So, I have not used them yet.

Been looking for sanding sticks exactly like this and this is the only one i found here. The others doesn’t have round ends. I use it for sanding air dry clay. So far it works for what i need it. Great buy!

These are rock hard with no give. So for the most part, you can only use the small edge at the bulge or tip. If you have room you can lay the whole thin on its side and get a little more sanding surface. Can not get into any edges or corners. I think these would work well for sanding holes or inside rounded edges. Also poorly marked as to which grit is which. I ordered sanding sticks at the same time and am happy with them.

Expected small tips to be able to sand in small crevices. The tips are very large. These are bigger than cotton buds / q-tips. Not found a use for them. No good sanding a Seam on a flat surface as they leave a trough afterwards. Not what I was expecting.
