YES YES YES YES YES YES
YES YES YES AND YES! I bought this for my baritone saxophone after trying harnesses and neck straps that were painful and uncomfortable but THIS? This made it feel like it was floating and good support. The only wierd thing is the chest piece but after the second time using it I got used to it. It’s been so durable and the quality is amazing. I was able to comfortably play it without straining my neck or back too hard. The size and weight is amazing too. PLEASE buy it, it is amazing.

Relieves your neck
Works great, takes the pressure off your neck and your right hand.

Game-changer for marching band ergonomics
On behalf of my son, who plays tenor sax in a high school marching band: He says this distributes the weight of the sax so it doesn't feel like it's completely pushing down on his shoulders. It feels more balanced. Game-changer. If you don't already know, marching band has kids on their feet carrying their instruments for many hours at a time. My son has put this one to the test for ergonomics and durability for a full season of marching. So far, so good.

Good Quality Product But (Update)
It 's very well constructed, and fits well. Have only used it twice and I'm not sure I'm going to like it. It definitely relieves the strain on the neck, but just has an awkward feel about it. May take some getting use to. That's all on me not the strap support. I will give it some time for sure. Update: After several practice sessions I've decided I really like this Sax Holder. At one point yesterday I realized I didn't even know I had it on and my right thumb was not supporting the sax at all. I definitely jumped the gun on my original review. No neck pain either. I only play with the sax straight up and down in front of me. Standing or sitting, so can't speak to how it does when sitting with sax at an angle. Guess I can never where a dress while playing. Lol

Wonderful, but user must adjust
I’m a 69 yo man who played alto as a youth. I would say that the last time I played was 40 years ago. I’m retired and decided to climb back aboard. The weight of the alto was a consideration at my age and I bought both an alto and soprano at the same time and got a great deal. The neck strap was still an issue that I was looking to address when I ran across this item. Without hesitation, I bought one. Everything great you read is true. The wearer needs to know that your horn hangs differently. On the soprano, it relieves pressure on your right thumb, but it also dangles and try making a high D. It wants to swing. There’s a learning curve and it’s well worth the journey. No more neck strain and my shoulders hardly notice. Wonderful.

No more neck and backbone pain
This thing is a big helper for me. Now I can practice not 20 minutes, but whole hour with no tension in my neck and backbone. Practicing with my tenor sax became so comfortable now. First time, I have not bended it correctly and when moving during the playing, it was trying to slip from shoulders. Now I have fount the correct curve for the shoulder supports and it become much more stable and comfortable. If you have a problems with your backbone or neck, give it a try.

Get the JazzLab Clarinet Holder if you have a straight soprano or wind synth
I got this for my Roland Aerophone which has the same body characteristics as a straight soprano saxophone. It does have a better build quality than the Chinese knock-offs. It wasn't bad but it's better suited for a CURVED soprano, an alto, a tenor, or a baritone. If you're using any of those, you'll probably give this product 5 stars. I returned it and instead got the JazzLab Clarinet Holder. I'm much happier with that model.

Must have for saxophone players!
Wish I had known about this when I started playing. It puts the weight of the instrument on your shoulders and not your neck. It's very easy to take on and off. You will have to carry it outside the case, but it's well worth it. It comes with a carrying sack. It's got a deep hook, and there's no risk of the saxophone coming loose and falling. There are comments of the sax "floating" in front of you--it's true!
