I live in an apartment and I was looking for a way to have lights I could hang around my patio that would work for every season. Now, these have a lot less color options than the much more expensive sets, but I decided that based on the price difference ($100+ more for the fancier set) these would work great. They really do. They are bright, have vibrant colors and after 6 months are still going strong. The only negative is I have a smart plug set to come on at dusk and turn off at 11 pm. These do not remember the last setting, so they automatically come on white (clear). Also, there have been times the remote did not work to change the color unless I removed the smart plug. This happened maybe 1 out of every 10 times I tried to change the color during the holidays. Slightly annoying, but not a deal breaker for me. I like having the smart plug take care of turning the lights on and off so it’s worth occasionally having to have white lights when I’d prefer a color. Overall, especially for the extremely reasonable price, I’m very happy with these. I did also order the hooks with clips made for these types of lights and I would recommend those as well. These are heavier than regular lights and those hooks keep the lights securely in place.

Recently bought this outdoor lights, and I’m genuinely impressed. The quality is very good, they feel sturdy, well-made, and perfect for outdoor use. I installed them on my balcony, and they instantly transformed the space with a warm, beautiful ambiance. One of my favorite features is that they come with two remotes, which is such a nice touch.

I understand some folks have had issues with these lights. Mine worked like a charm from the moment they were opened, tested, and hung out in the Florida weather. That is for the first six months, then they go out completely and won't light at all. Did all the testing of each bulb and the fuse to no avail. Time to email customer service, explained what I did and asked if there was anything I missed as far as troubleshooting. The gentleman told me he was sending out a new control box right away after talking with their tech guys. Good deal! Received the box and new remote within days and the remote still wouldn't work with the new control box! Email back, asking can they be synced manually? Get a reply, they are sending me a completely new set of lights! WOW! So now, just tested the new set and they lit up perfectly - with both of the new remotes! I. Am. A. Happy. Camper! I don't know, maybe communication was the key for me. These aren't cheap and I'm really satisfied with my purchase (they are beautiful!) and my customer service experience. Yes, I would buy them again!

The gauge of the wire is physically smaller than the older lights it replaced. When replacing existing lights with new ones it is essential to measure how far the existing lights are from one another and the total length of the run. If I had done this I would have found a closer replacement, but that's my fault. These lights work fine. Not quite as bright as I wanted, again, a subjective point-of-view. There are umpteen presets and effects to create laughable displays. All I wanted was a slow pulsing blue (which it doesn't have) so I used a constant blue. These are around a pool area so it's a very nice mood light that reflects off the pool. Note: After a complete power failure these lights did not automatically come back on. This is odd as I control them using a Kasa WIFI outdoor dual-plug controller. This has only happened once since installing them and was easily fixed by using the remote control from a second-story room. I was surprised that the remote didn't require line of sight. I've had these installed for 2 months now.

Well, some of the reviews ive read seam make me keep looking. However I gave them a chance after all its a great price. So far I am very pleased. They work and look fantastic. Time will really tell about the true quality. I can say after over a week of use they are working great. So much so I just ordered a second set.

DO NOT BUY!!!! I even got a replacement and 2 pairs in the last YEAR?! Not even?! And they don’t work? Super unfortunate. Go through a different seller. UPDATE: the seller did reach out to me about these lights and I’m thankful for that. They did offer me a refund to replace the light which I did. It’s not been a few weeks of them being up and these things retain water in the actual bulbs that they flicker. The “new” set came a complete tangled mess. I’m not sure if they were someone’s previous return or what. I want to REALLY try to like this product but I’m having a hard time. I’m not too happy with these lights. I’ve not even had these a year yet and they do not work anymore. I spent a little over $40 with taxes for them to break LESS than a year later. I loved them while they lasted- they lasted through rain last summer and I protected them over the winter and they now do not work. I even have outlet covers (as one should on their home outside). I’m hoping no one else has this experience.

I purchased these lights because my other string lights (very similar) failed after about 5 years of use. The AC power adapted on the old set needed replacement and locating the exact part was difficult to match. Anyway, the new string lights arrived today (12/22/25) from Amazon. It was only a 2 day delivery, so that’s a very good considering this is the busiest holiday season for packages. Unfortunately, the lights were very tangled-up when I removed them from the box and it took me awhile to untangle them. I recommend you untangle them inside your house so you’re not doing it outside in freezing temps. I installed them today (very easy using zip ties) and they tested as advertised. I’ll circle back on this review after I give them some time, but based on my prior experience, these lights look very good at night and having a remote is a convenient way of operating them inside your house especially in inclement weather. For now, I’ll give them 3 stars for delivery and installation. Good quality & performance should bump it up to 5 stars but that’s on hold for now. Keep you posted.

**update May 2024 - I STILL LOVE THESE LIGHTS!! The lights themselves worked great, but the separate connection cord for the plug went out. Over 2.5 years, I burned through 3 plugs. I finally ran out of replacements a couple months ago. I reached out to customer service who actually responded to my email. They sent me the link for the replacement plug. I ordered 3, none worked. I ordered replacements for those and still no dice. They were not compatible with the older model lights. One review said they worked, but only RED worked, which was the problem I had. After some back and forth with customer service, they actually sent me 1 new strand for free… even though I bought the lights in 2022. A+++ for spectacular customer service. I was genuinely impressed. As mentioned in below, I did buy a warranty which I did cash in on and purchased a new warranty with each new strand. $8 warranty is worth it. Previous review I also stated if you use an auto timer, the lights will always turn on white.. NEW STRANDS TURN ON WHATEVER COLOR PREVIOUSLY SET ON WHEN USING AN AUTO TIMER! **update December 1, 2022 - All still working like new!*** I live less than 1 mile from the Texas Gulf Coast and I've never had much luck with regular Christmas lights, they never last. I actually bought regular white patio lights first, but a few days after, these multicolor's went on sale and I returned the other white's and bought these instead. I bought these end of July 2022 and it's now almost October 2022. So far they've been great! They came will 3 replacement bulbs for each strand. I haven't used any yet. All my lights are equally the same color. ***Just for safe measure, I did buy a 4 yr warranty, around $8 for each strand. New can cost up to $65+ to replace if not on sale, so I think that it's worth it.*** A few things to note: 1) You can only use one color at a time. There is not a setting to make individual bulbs a different color. :( I think it can flash between a few colors, but that's a little too much for me and honestly, I haven't figured it out yet. 2. If you are using an auto timer, it will NOT go back to your last setting. Auto timers will turn on to the regular white and you'll have to change manually. **It will only return back to your previous setting IF you are only using the remote.** Not really a deal breaker considering most lights are white anyway and you do have all the other great color options. I will update my review if I end up having a bunch of problems.
