I was able to fix my dad's old Sears battery charger from the 70's with this switch. I've had this in my garage for several years and used it heavily until a few years ago the switch went out and stopped working and there it sat. This switch fixed it. My dad's gone now but everytime i use his battery charger is always reminds me of him. RIP DADDY

Great, Hard to find Battery Charger Switch
This switch is for changing the charging rate on a battery charger. I used this switch to refurbish A 1950 battery charger from my grandfather's Ford dealership. This switch worked to replace the broken original one that is not available now days.

A little bit different than my original, but super easy to figure out how to read all the lettering. And install. On my charger.

New switch terminal positions were not like old switch positions sequence
Once I figured out what color wire was the 6 v, and the 12v slow, 12v fast, and boost wire, I could put the 6v wire on the 2, 12v slow on the 4, 12v fast on the 6, and boost on the 8 (terminals are marked) on the new switch, and now the charger works/matches the marked positions on the face as I turn the switch knob to the desired charging position. I also had to round out the square hole in the face in order to fit the shaft/stem through. the included instruction sheet was very helpful.
