Needed it to reset some ABS stuff Did its job

I really like this OBD code reader, it's easy to use and does everything you would need for this basic entry level model. I had no problems plugging in and reading/clearing my codes. If you want a detailed definition of each code, diagnostics, live readings, possible fix recommendations, and a link to the cheapest available parts you would want to download the app and sync via Bluetooth to the reader. Data/Wifi will be required as well to use app. One thing to make clear, you do not need a phone, wifi/data or Bluetooth to use this reader. You can simply plug into your car and read your codes and clear them if you want. You'll just have to google what the codes mean to figure out your problem.

Works good but it's really tiny - hard to see the screen - didn't realize it was so small when ordered.

I have a 2008 and bought a code reader for ~$20 a couple years ago. It kept coming up with errors saying my honda had factory codes that couldn't be deciphered. This one takes WAAAAAY longer to read the codes... but it actually reads them all. The buttons are a little clumsy. Somehow with more buttons (my cheaper one had 2) it was less intuitive and more difficult to use. But it reads a lot of codes.

The instructions that came with the product are vague. I had to figure it out by downloading a users manual online. And it wants to connect to wifi in order to work properly. Then it asks for the VIN number of the vehicle (I suspect that it does this in order to sync with the recorded history of maintenance done in the past for the vehicle). I done all that and got the codes, replaced all the parts using manufacturers recommendations from the dealership, and then tested my vehicle using the scanner once again. The second time I tested it, I got the same exact results (even though I had already replaced all the parts with new parts). I'm not sure what to make of that. My car is running way better that it has ever run due to the fact I replaced all those parts with new parts; however, I do not know why it is still giving me the same codes as before. I cleared all the codes and ran the test again. Same results. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. idk The unit is a little tricky. Not that user friendly. For someone like myself who is not a professional mechanic and who does all his own work on the vehicle simply because he can't afford to take it to a mechanic, I would recommend searching for a better scanner. I don't know which ones out there are the best ones, but this scanner seems to lack the technical capabilities required for a "do-it-yourself" mechanic with limited knowledge such as myself. I would have thought that, after replacing all the parts the scanner gave codes for, that would have solved all the issues on my vehicle as far as the check engine light constantly coming on. I cleared it twice and still get the check engine light. I'm probably going to have to take it to someone with better diagnostic capabilities in order to finally get the issues resolved. I like. Prior to this unit, none of numerous methods for turning off "check engine" light worked for me. Device and one used by auto parts store both showed same vehicle engine sensor fault. But, it was another engine sensor which was the problem. So, I wanted the "check engine" light OFF, having identified a legitimate engine sensor fault and figuring out, which one was faulty. The sensor which was actually faulty, I don't need to operate my vehicle. I used this Innova 3020 RS Code Scanner to turn off the check engine light. This device is the only method by which I could turn off the "check engine" light. Money worth spent to accomplish that (frustrating problem) alone. (2003 GM vehicle)

I ordered this scanner and received it the same day. It took me less than 5 minutes from opening it, to connecting to my phone and reading a code. It showed a misfire on cylinder 3 and gave me all the options to fix. This is very easy to use and great for the price. I highly recommend if your looking for a quick code reader.

Set up with the app quickly, paired fast. Read and told codes and saves the codes in the app for you. Has great instructions too

Works awesome when I used on my Hyundai. It provided me with the code that let me know there was an issue with my Transmission fluid. It saved me money as all I needed to do was go to the oil change location to have my transmission fluid changed. It totally solved my problem with having to go to a mechanic to find out what the engine light code was. Was able to discover the code my self.

Ok item for the price but a bit underwhelming to use regularly
