Caiman Premium Goat Grain TIG/Multi-Task Welding Gloves, Split Cowhide Back, 4-Inch Extended Cuff, White/Gold, Medium (1540-4)

For context: I am a welding student. These gloves are excellent so far. They fit very well and I'm picky ablut glove fit. Compared to the gloves the school issued to us (very bog standard typical tig gloves) these are thicker, more padded, have a better cuff, and are actually shaped like human hands. I haven't been using them long yet, but they also dont seem to be shrinking up like the others did, either. Other than some dye bleeding off onto my hands, I'm very happy with these. Anyone saying they lack heat resistance has to be using them for the wrong process - they are very clearly labeled as TIG gloves and would be unsuited for stick welding. MIG it could go either way, they'd probably be fine for that, but maybe on the thin side. Dexterity is excellent, I'm even able to easily pick up dropped 1/8" tig wire and tungstens, but 3/32 wire is still a bit of a challenge. 2 Months update: These have held up very well for me, pictured is after two months of use 6 hrs/day, 4 days/wk. They have remained flexible and have not burnt, nor shriveled up on me. In fact, I've been able to stretch them back into shape a few times when they've started to shrink down. They havent developed any holes other than the one I put in them with wire snips by mistake (black tape) and the masking tape is just on there to build the fingers up to make it easier to use a torch nozzel as a TIG finger. Very satisfied with these gloves, I'll be ordering another pair to have on hand for when these do eventually give up the ghost.

These Caiman gloves strike a solid balance between feel and protection. The goat grain palm is soft and responsive, perfect for TIG work, while the split cowhide back adds durability where you need it. The 4-inch cuff gives extra coverage without getting in the way. Fit is true to size (Large), seams are clean, and the gloves broke in quickly. I can run beads with good control and still handle hot material confidently. Pros: Outstanding dexterity for TIG Soft goat leather palm with great feel Durable cowhide back Extended cuff adds protection Comfortable once broken in Cons: Not intended for heavy stick welding all day (by design) Bottom line: If you want precision and comfort for TIG or light multi-task welding, these are excellent.

My favorite gloves! They’re super thin but I use them for stick and they work just fine, they don’t shrink unless of course you get too close, you can’t feel the heat, and you still have some feeling through the glove to feel the weld or anything else. I love these gloves they’re comfortable and fit my hand well! They’re flexible so I didn’t even need to break Them in and they aren’t ugly gloves, not that it matters over safety much.

Comfortable and long lasting gloves, except.. the finger tips. Particularly the thumb and index finger. Those need to be double padded. I love these gloves but they always seem to wear out in those two spots quickly.

I really like these gloves! I used there sizing chart (all manufacturers are different) and the fit is amazing I can pick up my wire with no problem they are very comfortable and flexible. And no problem working the knobs and using the tig torch. Very happy customer

They were good for a total of 2 days on the third day of working on the 3rd day all of a sudden it had 3 holes in the leather itself and aside from the weak durability it would dye my hand yellow every time I used them I ended up trashing them and decided to just use my old beat up slick man’s

Son de excelente calidad las.costuras y los ensambles entre cada corte son excelentes, la talla que pedí me quedo un poco justa pero no son incómodos, son suaves y muy cómodos, los volveré a pedir una talla más grande. Recomiendo ampmiamente.
