Didn't work for me
They were absolutely worthless for me. This is my first dealings with these creatures so I've been freaking out. I was bitten a few times over a 2-3 week period while sitting in my favorite chair so I knew the ones I had were living in there. I purchased four of these (they come two in a pack) and placed all four at the chair's feet and left them there for a week or so, when I checked them they were empty. I ordered DE anyway and hit every crevice in my place HARD! It's been a few days now and thankfully I have yet to experience any bites. One did appear while I was treating my place and I sprayed it with alcohol immediately and brought it's life to an end. I hope and pray that I continue this clear experience and never have them again! Long story, I just wanted to let everyone know not to put too much trust in these things. If you're being bitten, don't wait. Take care of it immediately!

Great product needs better quality control
Should be a great product but the sticky bed inside for the bugs to get trapped was missing in all 3 boxes i got. The smell that attracts the bugs is not bad. Im giving it 4 stars because the customer service for the company was very good and they will send me new ones and said they would male sure these ones have the sticky part inside

Disgusting smell.
Being used as a f/u after professional extermination. Don’t know if it works or not - hard to tell with bedbugs. I don’t see any bugs but does that mean they haven’t just come & gone and I missed them? I don’t think this trap actually holds and kill them

Easy to use, and can fit into tight spots.
Before purchasing the traps, my family had found several of the nasty little critters. So we began treating. But we never used any bed bug products. Like sprays or that daematrius earth powder stuff. We used household supplies, such as baking powder. Trust me. It works. The critters get trapped in it, and suffocate. You can use it around the seams where the wall and floor connect. And you can place it in a pot or large bowl (preferably metal), and put the legs of your bed in it. But, that's "only" if you catch the bugs before they can infest. And we just so happened to get lucky enough to get them before they could infest. I'm pretty sure we drug them into our house from a yardsale purchase of some furniture. A dresser and a cabinet. After a week or so of purchasing them, the bugs appeared. The only reason I purchased the traps were for a cautionary measure to be sure they were gone after we treated. After a couple of weeks, my family has peace of mind. The traps were empty. No more sightings and no more bites. And it has been a couple more weeks since we checked the traps as of this review. But I do plan on making another purchase to do a double check. Cause bed bugs can lay dormant, or hibernate if that's the proper way to say it. And they can for months. So even if you think you got them all, you may not have. The traps were very easy to use. Just take them out of the package, firmly press the button on the top of the trap, and place them. Simple. And the traps are small. So they can be placed in some tight spots. Be warned though. The traps do have a smell. Though the scent has a small radius and you probably won't even notice when placing them under a bed frame by the legs. That's my experience with these traps. Good luck to everyone else combating the nasty little critters.

Good First Line Defense for Preperation
For decades I have known of the phrase "Sleep tight... don't let the bed bugs bite" but have never actually seen one in real life. When someone I know came down with an infestation, I thought care and due diligence would keep my residence safe from them. After a couple close calls with spotting a single creature and quickly getting rid of them, I figured all was well. I was wrong. Months went by and I'd spotted one headed toward me on the bed. A few weeks later, another. Days later, on trash night, a solitary, younger generation critter. Having now seen samples from different stages, I immediately ordered these and stripped everything. One in a pillowcase. Another. Within 48 hrs of placing a single 2 pack, a larger adult found it's way to the trap. I had already ordered the full set of products Ortho suggests along with some other things. After two weeks and a vigilant routine of products and dryer cycles, I set out two more and have yet to see anything. For the purposes of this particular product, even though I only ever caught the one, I'd say it works and did it's job. Had I not already spotted the others and ordered everything, I certainly would have after putting out the first two and being alerted. That said, it's estimated that some 20% of homes fall victim to these critters after nearly being wiped out in the 50's. Having these on hand any time I travel or have to stay somewhere like a hotel is something I plan on. Instructions suggest activating a trap and tossing it in your luggage, for instance. Above all, be vigilant... and don't let the bed bugs bite.

Poorly made. Not likely to trap anything.
The design seems ok, but the quality control is terrible. Both of the traps I got had only a very small dot ( maybe two or three mm) of glue in one corner of the trap. The rest of the trap area was perfectly clean. The likelihood that any bedbugs that are drawn to the trap would wander onto the tiny dot of adhesive and get caught is very small. If there was more glue spread around the trap area, they might work, but as they are, they are worthless.
