High quality halyard works well in high winds.
I use this rope as the halyard on my 32’ flagpole with a 5’ x 8’ nylon flag. I live in a high wind area so a sturdy, low-stretch halyard is required. I’m very satisfied with the quality and price. I tied the ends together with a zeppelin bend and placed the bend between the snap swivels. That way, there’s no knot to contend with when hardening the halyard and tying it off on the cleat.

Very strong rope
If this rope lasts as long as it looks like it should, it will have been a very good investment. My old rope became frayed in spots so badly that I knew it would break in a windy situation and then I would have a very big job getting a new rope through the top pulley. I purchased this rope and pulled it through by connecting it to the old rope. The only thing that I have any concerns about is this stuff is hard to tie, but with a little creativity you can figure out what works best for your situation. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Extremely strong and flexible Highly recommended
Replaced halyard on 30' flagpole. Recommendation is to search youtube for videos on the proper flag halyard "knot" to connect the two ends. The knot is fairly heavy and I wish I had tied it between the two snaps for the upper flag where it would be less likely to bang on the flagpole or at least hit at a lower velocity. It was easy to run the line through the rollers at the top of the pole with the old attached to the new line with some aircraft safety wire and tape to make a snag free transition. The SS core line runs through the rollers very well. It is a little more difficult to wrap tightly for a conventional flag halyard knot but worked out well. Requires a sharp knife plus wire cutters to cut. I taped the ends and then used lighter to fuse frizzled end. Left taped..... In the future I would use white electricians tape or heatshrink tubing. Highly recommended. Stainless core wire provides a doomsday backup . UPDATED A year later it's showing no signs of wear on a windy hillside and a large flag. I did move the splice joining the two ends so that it is between the snaps for the top flag and it is much quieter.

Very durable and strong rope system.
Great product that should last for a few years due to the braided wire inner cable. Difficult to cut which is a good thing.

Fit to be tied.
I don’t mean to string you along with this review, but if you’re looking for a flagpole rope that should last for many years, this is it. This rope was easy to work with should stand up to the strong winds coming from the lakeside we live on.

Hard door with.
I don’t think this is great flagpole wire/cable. It is too hard to work with. I went back to a good old polyester rope.
