I really like this throw cube. I have a far more expensive one from another company and honestly like this one more. It’s not as well made as the other. But it’s easier to unfold and fold. Has more pockets and is doing the job just as well at less than 1/4 of the price. Hard to be mad at that.

This is an upgrade from using a 5 gallon bucket for my throwline. It is much easier to put the line back in the cube than a bucket, both because of the larger mouth, and it stands a little higher than the bucket. And of course it takes up less storage space than a bucket when folded.Like some others, I was at first mystified about how to open it. It came with no instructions. I found a video online called "Opening a Throwline Cube (the easy way)," which showed how to open it. The gist, as others have said in these reviews, is to lift two corners and then step on the corners immediately under the ones you have lifted, and then turn the lifted corners counter clockwise. Very easy once you understand.

I like these bags. They fold up into a tight triangle, with the throw line and a couple (or more) throw weights inside.You just pop the velcro strap and give a flic and viola, you have a square box that is self-standing and plays out the flaked line, with ease.It is easy to flake the line back into this, drop the weight into one of the two interior pockets and fold it right back up.The folding takes a little practice, but once you have done it a few times, it is trivial.I have two of these and one has been used many times. It is holding up great.The folded triangle is small enough to fit into my climbing backpack (small) with ease.

I love that you can tie in your throw line feed it in and have a couple throw weights in it and it still collapses and folds up ready to go and you can fold it and everything still where it was and you can use it as soon as you unfold it.

Sure, I could have gone and spent over $100 for a different brand of cube, but why?This cube has held up to my use, been easy to deploy for work, and fold up at the end of work.The material has also held up to the use I've put it through.Good product, thanks!

This throw ball bag is nice. Wish it had directional folding arrows like the others do in the top corners.
