Does fortinet fortigate fg-40f replace my router? can i use expressvpn for vpn?

We use the Fortigate-40F for the gateways on various satellite installations. Using the NAT capabilities, we route traffic at the IP and IP-Port level to dedicated public-facing services. We use the site-to-site VPN capabilities to link all these installations into a coherent network space, and individual users are able to connect as well. My only complaint is poor Linux support for road-warriors. Macbook users have found the FortiClient software to be adequate. I can't speak to Windows. As to ExpressVPN, you will need to check their compatibility list -- the Fortigate follows the published standards; however, every VPN setup that I have ever worked with required a lot of tweaking, some of which was effectively impossible to resolve.
